To gain Woodcutting experience most efficiently, players should always drop the logs they cut. Players should quickly drop their items by holding the shift key and clicking on the logs.
Levels 1–15: Regular trees
From level 1 to 15, the player should cut regular trees. Each log gives 150 Woodcutting experience. 17 logs are required to reach level 15.
Levels 15–30/99: Oak trees
From level 15 to 30, the player should cut oak trees. Each log gives 220 Woodcutting experience. 50 logs are required to reach level 30.
Levels 30–45: Willow trees
From level 30 to 45, the player should cut willow trees. Each log gives 500 Woodcutting experience. 96 logs are required to reach level 45.
Levels 45–60: Maple trees
From level 45 to 60, the player should cut maple trees. Each log gives 1320 Woodcutting experience. 161 logs are required to reach level 60.
