Firemaking is a skill used to light fires, among other things. It is the artisan companion skill of Woodcutting.
Firemaking allows players to light logs to cook food anywhere, albeit with a higher burn chance than with a range.
Pyromancer outfit

Pyromancer outfit is experience-boosting set, that can be bought from Firemaking Tutor.
While wearing individual pieces of pyromancer outfit, the player won't receive any experience boost. The player must wear the entire outfit to receive an additional 10% XP bonus on every lighting action.
The entire set can be bought for a total of 105.000 skilling points.

Route to 99
Burning logs is one of the fastest ways to train Firemaking. An easier but a slower method is to simply burn logs in a row from east to west. The best place to do this is at Varrock: use ::Varrock.
Royal Donators can burn logs on a bonfire at ::Royal skilling zone.
The table below assumes 1,485 logs are burned per hour.
| Levels | Log type | Experience | XP/h |
