Larran's key is a key obtained from killing monsters while on a Slayer task given by Krystilia. It is used to open Larran's small and big chests.
The Larran's key is stackable but lost upon death (even if unskulled).
Chests
The chest is located in two places, in the deep wilderness (::MB) and at level 18 wilderness (::SC).
The deep wilderness chest gives you 3 reward items, while the lower wilderness one only has two.
Larran's small chest
Larran's small chest can be found north-east of the Chaos Temple. The chest is locked and can only be opened by using Larran's key.
Loot awarded to the player by opening the chest is around 33% less than that of Larran's big chest. However, the big chest is located in a much more dangerous part of the deep Wilderness and is more frequented by Player Killers.
Larran's big chest
Larran's big chest can be found on the ship west of Pirates' Hideout, quickest way there is by running from mage bank (::MB). The chest is locked and can only be opened by using Larran's key, which is obtained from killing monsters that Krystilia assigns the player.
Though sharing the same loot compared to Larran's small chest, the quantities obtained from the big chest are higher.
The chest will announce the name of the player that opened it as well as the loot obtained to a large area around the ship on which it is found.
