The Dragon longsword is a one-handed slash weapon that needs 60 Attack. It attacks every 5 ticks (3.0 seconds) with +69 slash attack, +58 stab attack and +71 strength. Players use it for its special attack, a stronger and more accurate hit that costs only 25% special attack energy. It is free from the Melee Accessories shop at home. The Dragon longsword (bh), made with an imbue scroll from the Bounty Hunter shop, has higher attack bonuses and a stronger special attack.

Special attack

The special attack costs 25% special attack energy and is a single hit with:

• a max hit of 1.15 times your normal max hit (rounded down), and
• an attack roll multiplied by 1.25, checked against the target's slash defence.

With 100% special attack energy you can use it four times in a row.

Dragon longsword (bh): the special attack costs the same and has the same accuracy bonus, but its max hit is 1.25 times your normal max hit. Against players, your next attack after the special comes one tick sooner (4 ticks instead of 5).

How to get it

• Melee Accessories shop (the melee shop at home, ::shops): free.
• The free longsword has no value, so it cannot be sold on the Trading post.
• The (bh) and (cr) versions are made from it, see Variants.
