Mobile

You can play Roat Pkz on your phone or tablet straight from the browser, with nothing to download. Open play.roatpkz.com on an Android phone, iPhone or iPad and you get the full game: the same world, the same account and the same players as on a computer. The mobile layout is built to be played with your fingers, with OSRS Mobile-style side stones, a hotkey bar and touch controls.

• Where to play: play.roatpkz.com, in Chrome on Android or Safari on iPhone and iPad.
• Account: the same account you use on a computer. Log in with your normal username and password.
• Screen: the game always plays in landscape, so turn your phone sideways.
• Home screen: add the page to your home screen to play full screen, like an app.
• Hotkeys: a bar of five buttons in the bottom left for teleports, spawning, prayers and more.

How to start playing

1. Open play.roatpkz.com on your phone or tablet.
2. Turn your phone sideways.
3. Type your username and password and tap Log in. A new username creates a new account. If you get "Incorrect password", that name is already taken, so pick another.
4. Optional: add the page to your home screen so it opens full screen next time. See Add it to your home screen.

What's different on mobile

The game is the same as on a computer. Only the screen layout and the controls change:

• Touch controls. Tap to walk, attack and use things, hold for the options menu, drag to turn the camera and pinch to zoom. See Mobile/Controls.
• Side stones. The side tabs (inventory, prayer, magic and so on) sit in two columns of stones on the right. Tap a stone to open that tab.
• Buttons in the top left. Logout, show or hide the chat, and open the keyboard.
• Hotkey bar. Five buttons in the bottom left. Out of the box they open the teleports, spawn items, switch quick-prayers on and off, use your special attack and open the Magic tab. Every rank can open the teleports from it. See Mobile/Hotkey bar.
• Teleport pop-up. Picking a teleport in the teleport window asks you to confirm in a small pop-up with Teleport and No buttons.
• Minimap. Tap the world map button next to the minimap to hide it and see more of the game. Tap it again to bring it back.

Quick tips

• Taps that just miss a small button still count for the closest button.
• Hold an item until its menu opens, then drag it off the menu to move it to another slot.
• The chat button turns red when you get a private message or a trade, duel or gambling request while the chat is closed.
• Your hotkeys are saved on your phone, so each device has its own. Your Keyboard shortcuts from the computer are saved on your account.
• If the game says Outdated client, it reloads itself with the new version. If it keeps happening, close the tab or app completely and open it again.
