The Dragon mace is a one-handed crush weapon that needs 60 Attack. It attacks every 5 ticks (3.0 seconds) with +60 crush attack, +40 stab attack, +55 strength and +5 prayer. Players carry it for its special attack: for only 25% special attack energy it hits with a 50% higher max hit. It is free from the Melee Accessories shop at home. The Dragon mace (bh), made with an imbue scroll from the Bounty Hunter shop, has higher attack bonuses and a more accurate special attack.

Special attack

The special attack costs 25% special attack energy and is a single hit with:

• a max hit of 1.5 times your normal max hit (rounded down), and
• an attack roll multiplied by 1.25, checked against the target's crush defence.

With 100% special attack energy you can use it four times in a row.

Dragon mace (bh): the special attack costs the same and has the same max hit and accuracy bonus, but the target's crush defence roll is cut to 60% for the hit, so it lands more often.

How to get it

• Melee Accessories shop (the melee shop at home, ::shops): free.
• The free mace has no value, so it cannot be sold on the Trading post.
• The (bh) and (cr) versions are made from it, see Variants.
