On Roat Pkz some untradeable items break on death. Broken items can be repaired for the Pk Point price shown below.

The Items Kept On Death window

Open it with the Items Kept on Death button in your Equipment tab. It can't be opened during a trade, duel or gamble. The window sorts everything you carry and wear into sections, shows what each section is worth, and adds up your Guide risk value: what a death would cost you right now.

Items Kept On Death, unskulled
Not skulled: your three most valuable tradeables are kept.
Items Kept On Death with PK Skull active
The same items with PK Skull active ticked: nothing is kept, and the guide risk value goes up.
Section What it means
Tradeable Items that are KEPT The tradeable items you keep, and their value.
Non-tradeable Items that are KEPT Untradeables you keep.
Items that are KEPT but BREAK Untradeables you keep, but that break and need repairing. The total is the repair fee.
Item charges are LOST to your opponent Charges and stored items your killer gets, sometimes even when you keep the item itself: for example the scales and darts in a blowpipe, the wrath and sunfire runes in a rune pouch, and the items in your looting bag.
Items that are LOST to your opponent Items your killer gets. A loot key counts at the value of its loot.
Items that are LOST but can be looted by yourself Untradeables that drop to the floor for you to pick up again. They count as 0 PKP.
Items that are DELETED Items that disappear, such as a looting bag (its contents drop) or clue scrolls without a clue box.

Only the sections that apply to you are shown. On the right:

  • Showing info for has two toggles, Protect Item prayer enabled and PK Skull active. They start as your real state, and you can switch them to see what would change. They don't turn on the prayer or give you a skull.
  • Auto-Repair Untradeables On Death is a real setting (see Auto-repair).
  • Guide risk value adds up the items lost to your opponent, the charges you lose, deleted items and repair fees. ::myrisk, which says your risk in public chat, doesn't count every item charge or special item rule, so it can differ a little.
  • Click any item to see its name and value in your chat box.

How many items you keep

Without Protect Item With Protect Item
Not skulled 3 4
Skulled 0 1

The items you keep are your most valuable tradeables, by their price guide value. Untradeables that are always kept, such as those in the table below, don't count towards the limit. Some items are lost whatever they are worth (see Items that are never kept).

Clue scrolls

If you carry a clue box, your clue scrolls are kept when you die. The clue box itself is always lost. Without a clue box, your clue scrolls are deleted.

Auto-repair

Items in the table below that have a repair price break when you die, even though you keep them. With Auto-Repair Untradeables On Death ticked, they are repaired straight away if you can pay: the PK points come from your Quest tab, inventory or bank, and a chat message tells you what you paid. The same setting is in the Quest tab settings as Auto-Fix Untradeables. If it is off, or you can't afford the repair, you get the broken item back and repair it later.

Items that are never kept

Certain items cannot be kept upon an unsafe death. This is regardless of whether the item is the most valuable item, or if Protect Item prayer is used. Some of these items include:
