The Blessed dizana's quiver is the strongest ranged cape in the game. It needs level 75 Ranged and gives +18 ranged attack and +3 Ranged strength, the highest of any cape in the ::bis list (matched only by the Dizana's max cape) and more than twice the ranged attack of Ava's assembler. It also gives you a second ammunition slot, so you can keep arrows and bolts equipped at the same time and switch between a bow and a crossbow without changing ammunition.

It costs 7,500 Slayer points in the Slayer Shop and can be traded. It is always kept when you die, and it can be combined with a Max cape into the Dizana's max cape.

Second ammunition slot

The quiver holds one stack of ammunition on top of your normal ammunition slot.

  • What fits: arrows, bolts (including dragon bolts and enchanted bolts), javelins, bolt racks and atlatl darts. Darts, brutal, ogre, training and broad arrows, bone bolts, kebbit bolts and antler bolts cannot go in it.
  • Firing: the quiver has to be worn. Your weapon fires from your ammunition slot if it can use that ammunition, and otherwise from the quiver. For example, with dragon arrows in the ammunition slot and enchanted dragon bolts in the quiver, a bow fires the arrows and a crossbow fires the bolts.
  • Bonuses: with a ranged weapon, only the ammunition it fires counts towards your bonuses, so the stack you are not using adds nothing. Enchanted bolt effects work from either slot.

Filling and emptying it

While you wear or carry the quiver, an extra quiver slot is shown with your worn equipment:

  • Press Fill to move the ammunition you are wearing into the empty quiver.
  • Wield a second kind of ammunition that fits while you already wear some and the quiver is empty, and it goes into the quiver. Wielding more of the kind that is already in the quiver adds it to the quiver.
  • You can also use ammunition on the empty quiver to load it.
  • Click the quiver slot to Remove the ammunition or to Swap it with your ammunition slot.
  • The Empty option on the quiver puts the ammunition back in your inventory (you need room for it), and Open shows what is inside.

Ammunition saving

For ammunition saving, combine the quiver with a Max cape: the Dizana's max cape below keeps the second ammunition slot and adds the ammunition saving of every max cape (see Saving ammunition).

Dizana's max cape

Use the quiver on a Max cape to combine them into the Dizana's max cape; your Max hood becomes the Dizana's max hood. You need the same levels as for the Max cape to wear them.

  • It has the same +18 ranged attack, +3 Ranged strength and second ammunition slot as the quiver. Its Open option (for maxed players) shows the quiver's contents.
  • It has every Max cape feature, including its teleports. Like every max cape it also saves ammunition: each ranged attack has a 7 in 10 chance to keep its ammunition.
  • It cannot be traded. The Disassemble option gives back the Blessed dizana's quiver, a Max cape and a Max hood.
  • It is kept on death and breaks the same way as the quiver, and the repair also costs 1,000 PK points.

How to get it

Slayer Shop

The Slayer Shop sells the quiver for 7,500 Slayer points.

Other sources

  • It is tradeable, so it can be bought from other players or on the Trading post. It can also be noted.

Death and repairs

The quiver is always kept when you die, and it does not take one of your protected item slots. If you die somewhere you lose items, such as the Wilderness:

  • it turns into Blessed dizana's quiver (broken), and the player who killed you receives 1,000 PK points;
  • rare ammunition stored in it, such as enchanted dragon bolts, dragon javelins or atlatl darts, is dropped for your killer. Other ammunition stays in the quiver.

Use the Repair option on the broken quiver to fix it for 1,000 PK points. With Auto-Fix Untradeables turned on in the Quest tab settings, it is repaired automatically when you die, as long as you have enough PK points. See Items Kept on Death for the general rules.
