Ava's assembler is a ranged cape that needs 70 Ranged and 42 Defence. It gives +8 ranged attack and +2 ranged strength; in the ::bis interface only the Blessed dizana's quiver and Dizana's max cape have more of either in the cape slot. While you wear it, it also saves most of your arrows, bolts and darts (see Ammunition saving). It is untradeable and costs 1,000 PK points in the PK Point Shop.

Ammunition saving
While you wear the assembler, each ranged attack has a 7 in 10 chance to keep the ammunition it would use up. When the ammunition is used up, it drops under your target so you can pick it up, except for Karil's crossbow bolt racks, at the Great Olm and Verzik, and in the Kraken and Zulrah caves. Chinchompas, ballista javelins, dragon knives, dragon thrownaxes and Morrigan's javelins and throwing axes are never saved.
Ava's accumulator, Ava's attractor, the Ranging cape, the Masori assembler and every max cape save ammunition in exactly the same way. The assembler stands out among them for its ranged bonuses.
How to get it
- PK Point Shop: 1,000 PK points at ::shops.
- Clue scrolls: a possible reward from elite reward caskets.
- Mystery boxes: a possible reward from the
Vote Mystery Box, which you get for voting. - Crates: a possible reward from the
Silver Crate. - Holiday events: it was also in the bronze-tier and silver-tier reward boxes of past holiday events (limited-time rewards).
Upgrades
- Masori assembler: use a
Masori crafting kit on Ava's assembler. It keeps the same stats and ammunition saving and changes the look; it can be dismantled back into Ava's assembler and the kit. - Assembler max cape: combine Ava's assembler with a max cape. See Max cape.
