Oathplate armour

Oathplate armour is a set of melee armour made of the Oathplate helm, Oathplate chest and Oathplate legs. Every piece needs level 78 Defence. Each piece has the highest slash attack bonus for its slot in the ::bis interface (+10 helm, +16 chest, +12 legs, so +38 for the set), shared only with its Radiant version. The set also gives +12 melee strength; the helm's +6 is beaten only by the Torva full helm (+8). It is strongest against slash attacks: the helm and legs have the highest slash defence for their slots (+72 and +100) and the chest's +128 is second only to the Justiciar chestguard. Oathplate is sold in the Bounty Hunter shop.

Use a Purifying sigil on an Oathplate piece to turn it into its Radiant version. Each piece needs its own sigil. Radiant pieces have exactly the same stats and requirements as normal Oathplate; only the look changes. The Revert option turns a Radiant piece back into normal Oathplate and gives the sigil back. Radiant pieces are tradeable.

The sigil is made from five pieces (left, right, top, middle and bottom): use one piece on another while you have all five. Every superior Slayer monster (Insatiable Bloodveld, Marble gargoyle, Greater abyssal demon and Night beast) drops one random sigil piece when it dies. They can appear while you kill Bloodvelds, Gargoyles, Abyssal demons or Dark beasts on a Slayer task, once you have bought the Bigger and Badder Slayer unlock.
