The Brimstone ring is a hybrid ring with no requirements. It gives +4 to every attack and defence bonus (+6 for magic attack and magic defence) and +4 melee strength. It is the only ring in the ::bis list with a bonus to every attack and defence stat, so one ring covers melee, ranged and magic in hybrid and tribrid setups. Its effect also makes some of your magic attacks more accurate.

Effect

Each magic attack you make has about a 25% chance to ignore 10% of the target's magic defence, which makes that attack more likely to hit. A red message in your chatbox tells you when it triggers, and your equipment screen lists the effect while you wear the ring. It works against both players and monsters.
