Crystal armour

Crystal armour is a set of ranged armour made of the Crystal helm, Crystal body and Crystal legs. Every piece needs level 70 Defence. The full set gives +58 ranged attack, +124 ranged defence and +7 prayer, with a -40 penalty to magic attack. Its real strength is the boost it gives to crystal bows: with a Bow of faerdhinen (c), a New crystal bow or a charged Webweaver bow, the full set adds 30% ranged accuracy and 15% ranged damage. Each piece costs 100 points in the Last Man Standing shop, every piece is tradeable, and the armour can be recoloured with elven crystals.

Set effect

The bonus only works while you wield a crystal bow: any Bow of faerdhinen (c), the New crystal bow or a charged Webweaver bow. Each piece counts on its own, so you do not need the whole set, and every colour counts the same:

The accuracy bonus multiplies your ranged attack roll and the damage bonus your ranged max hit. Both work against players and monsters, and the equipment stats screen lists the crystal bonus you currently have.

Combat stats

Full set: +58 ranged attack, -40 magic attack, +84 stab, +67 slash, +92 crush, +88 magic and +124 ranged defence, +7 prayer. No piece has a melee attack or strength bonus.

How to get it

Last Man Standing shop

The Last Man Standing shop sells each piece for 100 points, so a full set costs 300 points.

Other sources

• Crates: any piece can come from the Last Man Standing Crate, the prize for winning a Crate game of Last Man Standing.
• Trading post: every piece is tradeable, in every colour.
• Item set: the three pieces can be swapped for a Crystal armour set (and back) at the item sets interface. Each colour has its own set, for example a Crystal armour set (red).

Recolours

Use an elven crystal on a Crystal helm, body or legs to change its colour. You are asked to confirm first, and the crystal is used up. A recoloured piece can be recoloured again with another crystal, and a Crystal of meilyr turns it back to the default colour. Every crystal costs 5 points in the Last Man Standing shop and can also come from the Last Man Standing Crate. Recoloured pieces are still called Crystal helm, Crystal body and Crystal legs, have the same stats and requirements, are tradeable and count for the crystal bow bonus.
