The Dragon spear is a two-handed melee weapon that needs 60 Attack. It has +55 stab, slash and crush attack, +60 strength and +5 to every defence bonus, and attacks every 5 ticks (3 seconds). PvP players use it for its special attack, which pushes the target back and stuns them. The PK Point Shop sells it for 250 PK Points.

Special attack
The special attack costs 25% special attack energy. It deals no damage and only works on players. As soon as you use it, the target is pushed one tile directly away from you (if that tile is free) and stunned for 4 ticks (2.4 seconds). While stunned they cannot:
- move, attack or follow,
- eat food or drink potions,
- turn prayers on or off,
- use most teleports, emotes or objects.
If the target is not frozen when it is speared, it also becomes immune to freezing for 9 ticks (5.4 seconds). After the special your own attack stops, so you have to click the target again.
The Zamorakian spear and the Zamorakian hasta have the same special attack.
Effect
Spears deal full damage to the Corporeal Beast, which halves the damage of most other weapons.
How to get it
- Shop: PK Point Shop for 250 PK Points.
- Achievements: Venenatis Kills gives 1 Dragon spear for 5 kills, 10 for 275 kills and 25 for 1,200 kills (see Venenatis).
- Clue scrolls: easy and medium clue scroll reward caskets.
- Boxes: the Vote Mystery Box from Voting.
- Players: it is tradeable, so it can be bought from other players or on the Trading post.
