Halos

Halos are head-slot items that all have the same bonuses: +3 prayer, +11 stab, +12 slash, +10 crush and +11 magic defence, and -1 ranged defence. They have no requirements, so any account can wear one. Among head items in the ::bis interface, only the Masori mask (f) has more magic defence. Halos have no combat effect beyond these bonuses: they differ in their look, their price and where they come from. Every halo can be traded.

Death and repairs

The Saradomin, Zamorak, Guthix, Armadyl, Bandos, Seren, Ancient, Brassica and Gold halos and the Cyan Halo are always kept when you die, on top of the items you protect, even though they are tradeable. If you die where you lose items, such as in the Wilderness, the halo breaks (for example into a Saradomin halo (broken)) and the player who killed you receives 250 PK points. Use Repair on a broken halo to fix it for 250 PK points. With Auto-Fix Untradeables turned on in the Quest tab settings, broken halos are repaired automatically when you die, as long as you have enough PK points.
