The Noxious halberd is a two-handed halberd that needs 80 Attack. Its +142 strength is the second highest of any weapon in the ::bis list, after the Elder maul (+147), and its +132 slash attack matches the godswords. Like other halberds it can hit from 2 tiles away, but it attacks every 5 ticks (3 seconds) instead of the 7 ticks of other halberds. It can venom its target and deals full damage to the Corporeal Beast on the stab style. It is sold in the Bounty Hunter shop.

Effect

• Venom: every hit that deals damage has a 1 in 6 chance to venom the target. Venom starts at 6 damage and rises by 2 with each venom hit, up to 20.
• Corporeal Beast: with the stab attack style the halberd deals full damage to the Corporeal Beast and the Divine Corporeal Beast, which take half damage from most other weapons.

Special attack

The special attack can only be used while you are poisoned or venomed. It costs 50% special attack energy and does not attack by itself: it cures your poison or venom straight away, and your next melee hit deals at least as much damage as the poison or venom was doing (up to 20 when venom has fully built up). If that hit misses, it deals no damage.
