Osmumten's fang is a one-handed stab weapon that needs 82 Attack. Its +105 stab attack is beaten by only one one-handed weapon in the ::bis list, Vesta's longsword (+106), and it has +103 strength. It rolls its accuracy twice, so it lands far more hits than its bonuses suggest, but each hit deals between 15% and 85% of your max hit. It attacks every 5 ticks (3 seconds) and deals full damage to the Corporeal Beast.

Effect

• Double accuracy roll: if the first accuracy roll misses, the fang rolls again. A 50% chance to hit becomes 75%.
• Damage range: a hit that lands deals between 15% and 85% of your max hit.
• Corporeal Beast: the fang deals full damage to the Corporeal Beast and the Divine Corporeal Beast, which take half damage from most weapons.

Special attack

The special attack costs 25% special attack energy. It multiplies your attack roll by 1.5 and is checked against the target's stab defence, and the double accuracy roll still applies. Against players it also lifts the 85% damage cap, so the hit deals between 15% and 100% of your max hit.

How to get it

• Bounty Hunter shop: 40,000 Bounty Hunter points.
• Mystery boxes and crates: the PvP Mystery Box, the Tournament Crate, Bounty Hunter Crates (tiers 4 and 5) and gold holiday event boxes.
• The Divine Monster and Lucky impling jars.
• It is tradeable, so it can be bought from other players or on the Trading post.

Variants

• Osmumten's fang (or): made by using a Cursed phalanx (2,000 Bounty Hunter points in the Bounty Hunter shop) on the fang. It has the same stats, effects and special attack, and it can be dismantled to get the fang and the phalanx back.
