Ahrim's equipment

Ahrim the Blighted, one of the six Barrows brothers.

Ahrim's equipment is the magic set of Ahrim the Blighted, one of the six Barrows brothers. It is made of Ahrim's hood, Ahrim's robetop, Ahrim's robeskirt and Ahrim's staff. The armour needs 70 Magic and 70 Defence, and the staff needs 70 Magic and 70 Attack.

The full set gives +73 magic attack and +8% magic damage. With all four pieces worn, your spells can lower a player's Strength, and together with an Amulet of the damned (full) the set can boost your spell damage and lets Ahrim's staff autocast Ancient Magicks (see Set effect). The whole set costs 1,000 PK points in the PK Point Shop.

Combat stats

Full set: +73 magic attack, +8% magic damage (+1% from each armour piece and +5% from the staff), +103 stab, +85 slash, +117 crush and +73 magic defence, -19 ranged attack. The staff also has +12 stab and +65 crush attack and +68 melee strength.

Spells cast with the staff take the normal 5 ticks (3 seconds); melee attacks with it take 6 ticks. The staff is one-handed and can autocast standard spells.

Set effect

While you wear all four pieces, each spell you cast at another player has a 25% chance to lower their Strength level by 5, as long as the spell does not splash.

With the Amulet of the damned

If you also wear an Amulet of the damned (full):

• each spell has a 25% chance to have its max hit raised by 30%, against players and monsters;
• Ahrim's staff can also autocast Ancient Magicks spells.

Barrows

Every piece can be found in the chest at the Barrows, which you can open after killing all six brothers.

PK Point Shop

The PK Point Shop at ::shops sells every piece for PK points:

• Ahrim's hood: 150
• Ahrim's robetop: 350
• Ahrim's robeskirt: 350
• Ahrim's staff: 150
• Ahrim's armour set (all four pieces in one item): 1,000

Other sources

• Starter kit: the Tribrid Pking starter kit, which you can pick when you create an account, includes Ahrim's robetop and robeskirt.
• Crates and chests: every piece can come from a Bronze Crate, and the robetop and robeskirt also from a Silver Crate. A Gold Crate can give an Ahrim's armour set, and the Bloodlust Chest can give 10 noted Ahrim's armour sets.
• Collection log: the reward for completing the Barrows Chests collection log includes an Ahrim's armour set.
• Achievements: these PvP achievements reward Ahrim's armour sets: Kill 55 Players as a Tribrid and Obtain a Killstreak of 250 (one set each); Kill 185 Players as a Tribrid and Shutdown a Killstreak of 400 (2 noted sets each); Kill 250 Players in Multi-way Combat (3 noted sets).
• Trading post: all pieces are tradeable.
• Item set: the four pieces can be swapped for an Ahrim's armour set (and back) at the item sets interface.

Breaking and repair

Ahrim's equipment does not wear down while you use it; the Check option always shows a 100% charge. A piece only breaks when it is dropped on the floor outside the Barrows crypt, for example when you lose it on death. It then turns into its broken version, such as Ahrim's staff 0, which has no bonuses and cannot be worn. Use the broken piece's Repair option to fix it for 25 PK points. Broken pieces are tradeable.

Use an Echo ahrim's ornament kit on an Ahrim's piece to turn it into its echo version. Each piece needs its own kit. The echo pieces have the same stats and requirements as the normal pieces, and they count towards the Strength-lowering effect and the Amulet of the damned damage boost, so you can mix normal and echo pieces. The Detach option gives back the normal piece and the kit. Echo pieces are tradeable, and they break and are repaired the same way as normal pieces.

The Echo ahrim's ornament kit can be found in the Barrows chest, and the Bounty Hunter shop sells it for 500 Bounty Hunter points.

Other uses

• Some easy clue scroll steps ask you to wear Ahrim's hood, robetop or robeskirt, and a medium clue scroll step asks for the robetop.
