The Dragon defender is a melee off-hand item worn in the shield slot. It needs 60 Defence. It gives +25 stab, +24 slash and +23 crush attack, the same amounts of defence, and +6 melee strength. Its attack bonuses are the second-highest of any shield in the ::bis interface, behind only the Avernic defender. It costs only 1,000 PKP and comes in the Main Pking starter kit, so many melee setups use it until the player can afford an Avernic defender. It cannot be traded.

How to get it

• PK Point Shop: 1,000 PKP.
• Starter kits: the Main Pking starter kit includes one.
• Clue scrolls: elite reward caskets.
• Crates and boxes: the Bronze Crate (from player kills and Crate Frenzy) and the Vote Mystery Box (Voting).
• It cannot be traded, so it cannot be bought from other players.
