The Eye of ayak is a powered staff that needs 83 Magic to wield. It fires its own spell, which costs no runes and never runs out of charges, every 3 ticks (1.8 seconds), making it the fastest-attacking magic weapon on Roat. Its +30 magic attack is tied for third highest of any weapon in the ::bis interface, behind only the Purging staff and Tumeken's shadow. It has a special attack that drains the target's Magic level. It is found in the Gold Wilderness Chest.

Effect

• The staff attacks with its own spell every 3 ticks (1.8 seconds). It cannot autocast spellbook spells.
• Max hit: Magic level ÷ 3 (rounded down) − 6. That is 27 at 99 Magic; boosted Magic levels count. Magic damage bonuses from your other gear are added on top.
• Against monsters it reaches up to 6 tiles away (8 on Longrange), a shorter reach than most magic weapons.
• Against players its normal attack only works in FunPk areas and Castle Wars, not in the Wilderness or other dangerous PvP zones.

Special attack

The special attack costs 50% special attack energy. It fires one hit with 30% more accuracy and a 30% higher max hit than the normal attack (35 instead of 27 at 99 Magic, before other magic damage bonuses). If it deals damage, the target's Magic level is lowered by the damage dealt. The special attack takes 5 ticks instead of the usual 3.
