Hunter gear is the name for three Hunter outfits sold in the Hunter Shop: the Kyatt, Graahk and Larupia outfits. Each one has a hat (a headdress for the Graahk), a top and legs. The percentage in each piece's name is the extra Hunter experience that piece gives while you wear it: 4% for a Kyatt piece, 3% for a Graahk piece and 2% for a Larupia piece, so a full outfit gives 12%, 9% or 6%. Pieces from different outfits add up, so you can upgrade one piece at a time. All three outfits have the same small defence bonuses. The pieces are bought with skilling points, cannot be traded and are kept when you die.
A full outfit costs 100,000 skilling points. Shop prices are in skilling points.

Experience boost
Each piece adds its percentage to all Hunter experience you get while you wear it. A full Kyatt outfit gives +12%, a full Graahk outfit +9% and a full Larupia outfit +6%. Mixed pieces add up too: a Kyatt top and legs with a Graahk headdress give +11%.
The boost counts for everything you catch with bird snares, net traps and box traps, for implings, and for AFK Hunter in the AFK Skilling Zone.
The experience boost is the outfits' only effect.
The Guild hunter outfit, sold in the same shop, has four pieces at 5% each (+20% in total) but needs level 72 Hunter.

How to get them
Hunter Shop: trade the Hunting Tutor in the Skilling Zone; ::hunter takes you right next to him. The prices are in the table above, and the shop buys pieces back for 70% of their price. See Hunter training for ways to train the skill.
The pieces cannot be traded, so the shop is the only way to get them.
