The Phoenix necklace is a necklace with no requirements and no combat bonuses. When a hit leaves you below 20% of your maximum Hitpoints, it heals you for 30% of your maximum Hitpoints and is destroyed. It costs only 25 PK points in the PK Point Shop, which makes it a cheap emergency heal, for example when tanking monsters.

Effect
- Trigger: a hit of 1 or more damage that leaves you alive with less than 20% of your maximum Hitpoints. Any damage counts: attacks from players and monsters, poison and venom.
- Heal: 30% of your maximum Hitpoints, rounded down (29 at 99 Hitpoints), but never above your maximum.
- The necklace is then destroyed, with the message Your phoenix necklace heals you, but is destroyed in the process.
- It cannot save you from a hit that would kill you: if the hit takes your Hitpoints to 0, the necklace is not used and you die.
- For 2 game ticks (1.2 seconds) after it triggers, any other hits on you wait and land after that.
- It works against both players and monsters. In a Duel Arena duel with food turned off, the necklace never triggers.
| Maximum Hitpoints | Triggers when a hit leaves you at | Heals |
|---|---|---|
| 99 | 19 or less | 29 |
| 90 | 17 or less | 27 |
| 80 | 15 or less | 24 |
| 70 | 13 or less | 21 |
| 60 | 11 or less | 18 |
The Redemption prayer is the prayer version of the same idea: it heals you when a hit leaves you at a tenth of your Hitpoints or less, at the cost of all your Prayer points.
