The Robin hood hat is a ranged hat that needs level 40 Ranged to wear and no Defence. It gives +8 ranged attack and a little melee and magic defence, at the cost of −10 magic attack. Every head item in the ::bis list with more ranged attack needs at least 20 Defence, so the Robin hood hat is the usual ranged hat for 1 Defence pures, and the Pure Pking starter kit comes with one. It costs 200 PK points in the Pk point shop and can be traded.
Achievements: one hat each for Chaos Fanatic kills (50 and 100), Pure kills (10), Compete in a Tournament (10 tournaments), Deal Ranged Damage (15,000 PvP ranged damage) and Killstreak Shutdown (shutting down a killstreak of 25). Bigger milestones give noted hats: Chaos Fanatic kills (25 at 3,500 kills and 10 at 12,500), Deal Ranged Damage (2 at 125,000) and Pure kills (2 at 145).
Treasure Trails: five clue scroll steps ask you to wear the hat, and each one also needs a PK skull. The easy steps are the Raspberry emote at the Dark Warriors' Fortress, fishing a trout, and cutting a tree in the Wilderness. The medium steps are the Glass Box emote at the Lava Maze, and killing Venenatis while also wearing the Rangers' tunic. The clue guides list the other items each step needs.
Corrupted morrigan's coif: above level 10 Wilderness (outside the Clan Cup), this coif takes the look and the bonuses of the Robin hood hat. See Corrupted Ancient Warriors' equipment.
