Corrupted Ancient Warriors' equipment is the low-Defence version of the Ancient Warriors' equipment armour: the Corrupted vesta's chainbody and plateskirt, the Corrupted statius's full helm, platebody and platelegs, the Corrupted morrigan's coif, leather body and leather chaps, and the Corrupted zuriel's hood, robe top and robe bottom. Every corrupted piece needs only 20 Defence, while the normal pieces need 78. Their stab, slash, crush and ranged attack bonuses are the same as on the normal pieces, but their defence bonuses are much lower, so these are the Ancient Warriors' pieces for low-Defence accounts. Players can compare them in the ::bis interface.
You make a corrupted piece by converting a normal piece, and you can convert it back whenever you like. A corrupted piece has the same PK point value as its normal piece, and it degrades in combat in exactly the same way.
The (deg) value is 85% of the full piece's value, which is also about the most a (deg) piece can be cashed out for (see Degrading and cash-out).

How to get them
Convert a normal piece: right-click a normal Ancient Warriors' armour piece and choose Convert-corrupt. Convert-regular on a corrupted piece turns it back. Converting is free and works in both directions. Only full (not degraded) pieces can be converted, and not while you are in a minigame.
Trading post: the full corrupted pieces are tradeable, so they can be bought from other players. The (deg) pieces cannot be traded.

Bonuses
Corrupted pieces have the same stab, slash, crush and ranged attack bonuses, but much lower defence bonuses, lower strength and ranged strength bonuses, less magic attack on the Zuriel's pieces (the same magic damage), and no prayer bonus on the Statius's platebody and platelegs.

In the Wilderness above level 10 (outside the Clan Cup), every Ancient Warriors' armour piece takes the look and the bonuses of another item, and you get a message when this happens. The corrupted pieces turn into much weaker items than the normal pieces. The pieces also stop degrading there.
A full set gives +15% accuracy on special attacks of the set's combat style. Normal, corrupted and (deg) pieces can be mixed in the same set.

Degrading and cash-out
Corrupted pieces degrade exactly like the normal pieces:
A full piece turns into its (deg) version after about 72 seconds (120 ticks) of combat against players, or three times as long against monsters.
Each piece lasts 2 hours of combat against players, or 6 hours against monsters (against monsters it only loses charge every third tick). When it reaches 0% it vanishes.
Pieces do not degrade in the Wilderness above level 10, in the Clan Cup or tournaments, or while you attack a combat dummy.
Check shows how much charge is left.
The (deg) pieces cannot be traded or converted. Cash-Out destroys a (deg) piece in a safe area (not in a PvP zone or minigame) and gives you PK points: 85% of the full piece's value multiplied by the charge left, and never less than 20% of the value.
If you die and lose a (deg) piece, your killer gets its cash-out value in PK points instead of the piece. A full piece is dropped like any other item.
Combat stats
Each (deg) version has exactly the same bonuses and requirement as its full piece.
