Agility training

Agility is the skill of running obstacle courses. This guide shows where and how to train it on Roat Pkz, how much experience and how many skilling points every course gives per lap and which shortcuts your Agility level opens. A higher Agility level also makes your run energy come back faster in the places where it drains, such as the Wilderness, and every lap you finish refills your run energy.
Quick guide
| Course | Where | |
|---|---|---|
| 1–35 | Gnome Stronghold Agility Course | Purple portal at ::agility
|
| 35–52 | Barbarian Outpost Agility Course | Blue portal at ::agility
|
| 52–99 | Wilderness Agility Course | Red portal at ::agility (Wilderness level 52–56)
|
| 85–99 | Divine Agility Course | Divine Skilling Zone, for Divine Donators |
The Wilderness Agility Course gives more than three times the experience of the Barbarian course for every lap and pays 4,000 skilling points and a ticket per lap, but other players can attack you there. Agility has no double-experience areas: the bonus is built into the courses.
How Agility works
- Laps: click the obstacles of a course one after another. Every obstacle gives experience, and when you pass the last obstacle after doing all the others you get a lap bonus: extra experience and skilling points, and your run energy is refilled.
- Failing: you cannot fail on the Gnome and Divine courses. On the Barbarian course you can fall off the rope swing, and on the Wilderness course you can fall off the rope swing and the log balance into the pit below and take damage. The higher your Agility level, the less often you fail. A failed obstacle has to be done again before the lap counts.
- Getting there:
::agilitytakes you to the Agility area of the Skilling Zone. Its three portals take you to the Gnome, Barbarian and Wilderness courses, and a portal at the Gnome and Barbarian courses takes you back. - Wilderness: you need a combat level of at least 100 to get experience and skilling points on the Wilderness Agility Course, and other players can attack you there. Hardcore PvP accounts can train Agility on every course.
- Run energy: run energy only drains in a few places, such as the Wilderness and the donator PvP areas. There it comes back while you stand still, faster with a higher Agility level and three times as fast with the full Graceful outfit. Finishing a lap refills it, so you can run the whole course.
Rates per hour
The rate table shows what every course gives per hour, so you can compare them:
- The hourly amounts are what an efficient player gets in real play: about 88 Gnome laps, 93 Barbarian laps, 88 Wilderness laps and 69 Divine laps an hour, the pace of the quickest tenth of players. Perfect clicking can reach about 120, 120, 100 and 85. You get less if you click slower, take breaks or have to fight.
- Boosts: pick the boosts you have in the bar above the table: a Double XP or Double Harvest scroll (or the Well of Goodwill perk), the Graceful outfit, the Ring of endurance, the Agility XP clan perk, the max cape and your vote streak, and how many Wilderness agility tickets you cash in at once. The table then shows your rates with them, and your browser remembers what you picked. With nothing picked it shows no boosts and 100 tickets cashed in at once. How the boosts add up is under Experience bonuses.
- XP/h is the experience you get an hour. Agility has no double-experience areas, so there is one XP/h column.
- SKP/h is the skilling points from your laps and, on the Wilderness course, from your tickets at the Agility Dispenser's price.
- PKP/h is that in PK points: right-click your skilling points and choose Claim-PKP to get 1 PK point for every 2 skilling points.
- On the Wilderness course you sometimes fall off the rope swing or the log balance into the pit, which costs you time. The rates count this for high levels; at level 60 expect about a tenth fewer laps. With a boosted Agility level of 120 (a Skill Boost scroll from level 95) you never fall.
Courses
| Course | Obstacles | XP per lap | SKP per lap | Notes | |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | Gnome Stronghold Agility Course | 7 | 1,068 | 200 | Safe. You cannot fail any obstacle. |
| 35 | Barbarian Outpost Agility Course | 8 | 2,044 | 666 | Safe. You can fall off the rope swing. |
| 52 | Wilderness Agility Course | 5 | 6,876 | 4,000 and a ticket | Wilderness level 52–56. You can fall off the rope swing and the log balance. |
| 85 | Divine Agility Course | 7 | 11,940 | 4,500 | Divine Donators only, in the Divine Skilling Zone. You cannot fail any obstacle. |
The experience per lap is the experience of every obstacle plus the lap bonus, before the bonuses in Experience bonuses. The lap bonus is most of it on the Wilderness and Divine courses: the last obstacle of a Wilderness lap gives 6,000 of its 6,876 experience. The course pages list the experience of every obstacle.

Wilderness Agility Course
Main article: Wilderness Agility Course

The red portal at ::agility takes you straight into the course at level 52 Wilderness, after a warning. The course runs from level 52 to 56, and the Agility Tutor and the Agility Dispenser stand inside it, next to the obstacle pipe. Three level 25 skeletons walk around the course and attack anyone near them. To leave on foot, go through the gate in the south (level 52) and the passage behind it.
Every lap gives 6,876 experience, 4,000 skilling points and a
Wilderness agility ticket. Cash your tickets in at the Agility Dispenser for more skilling points. The more tickets you cash in at once, the more each one is worth:
| Tickets cashed in at once | SKP per ticket |
|---|---|
| 1–9 | 500 |
| 10–25 | 550 |
| 26–50 | 600 |
| 51–99 | 650 |
| 100–149 | 700 |
| 150–199 | 750 |
| 200–249 | 800 |
| ...and 50 more per ticket for every 50 tickets more... | |
| 950–999 | 1,550 |
| 1,000 or more | 1,600 |
Level 52-56 – Deep center-west Wilderness, north of the Wilderness Lever / Mage Bank (red portal at ::agility) · 2993-3006, 3931-3965
Level 53 – Deep centre-west Wilderness, Wilderness Agility Course (red portal at ::agility) · 3004, 3936 (dispenser), 3005, 3934 (Agility Instructor)
For example, 100 tickets are worth 70,000 skilling points and 1,000 tickets 1,600,000. The tickets cannot be traded and you lose all of them when you die. If you leave the course through the gate with tickets in your inventory, you drop them on the ground, so cash them in first.
Divine Agility Course
The Divine Agility Course is in the Divine Skilling Zone, which only Divine Donators can enter. It needs level 85 Agility; the zone boosts your skills by 25 levels while you are inside, so you can use it from level 60. The obstacles are climbing rocks, stepping stones, an obstacle pipe, two crumbling walls, monkey bars and a rock to climb down, which ends the lap. A portal next to the last obstacle takes you back to the start.
Every lap gives 11,940 experience, the most of any course, and 4,500 skilling points. You cannot fail any obstacle. The Divine Skilling Zone is a PvP area: other players there can attack you, and run energy drains there as it does in the Wilderness. An Agility Tutor stands at the start of the course.
Not in the Wilderness, but a donator PvP dungeon: other players can attack you
Rates by course
| Course | XP per lap | SKP per lap | Laps/h | XP/h | |||
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | Gnome Stronghold Agility Course | 1,068 | 200 | 88 | 93,984 | 17,600 | 8,800 |
| 35 | Barbarian Outpost Agility Course | 2,044 | 666 | 93 | 190,092 | 61,938 | 30,969 |

| 85 | Divine Agility Course | 11,940 | 4,500 | 69 | 823,860 | 310,500 | 155,250 |
The Wilderness course's SKP per lap is its 4,000 skilling points plus one ticket at the price you picked (700 when you cash in 100 to 149 at once). The Divine Agility Course needs level 85, or 60 with the Divine Skilling Zone's boost.
Equipment
Graceful outfit
Main article: Graceful outfit

The Graceful outfit only works when you wear all six pieces. It then gives 10% more Agility experience, for every obstacle and the lap bonus, and makes your run energy come back three times as fast where it drains. The Agility Tutor sells it in ten colours, which all work the same and can be mixed: the hood and cape for 15,000 skilling points each, the top and legs for 25,000 each and the gloves and boots for 10,000 each, 100,000 for the outfit.

Ring of endurance
Main article: Other experience items

The
Ring of endurance (10% XP) gives 10% more Agility experience on top of the Graceful outfit. It also raises the lap bonus experience and the skilling points of every lap by 10%. The Agility Tutor sells it for 200,000 skilling points. It cannot be traded.
Experience bonuses
Every obstacle and lap gives the experience in the tables above, raised by these bonuses. Pick them in the bar above the rate table to see your rates with them.
| Bonus | Effect |
|---|---|
| +10% with all six pieces | |
| +10%, and 10% more lap bonus experience and skilling points | |
+1% for every day in a row you have voted, up to +50% (::votestreak shows yours)
| |
| Agility XP (10%) clan perk | The total is multiplied by 1.1 |
| The total is doubled | |
| About 1 lap in 10 gives double the lap bonus experience and double skilling points, but not a second ticket. You cannot wear it with the full Graceful outfit: both need the cape slot. |
The outfit, ring and vote streak bonuses are added together first, and the clan perk and double experience multiply the result. For example, a lap of the Wilderness course gives 6,876 experience, about 7,560 with the full Graceful outfit (× 1.1) and about 11,000 with a 50-day vote streak as well (× 1.6). The clan perk raises that to about 12,100 and double experience to about 24,200. There is no double experience in the Wilderness for Agility.
Level boosts
Your boosted Agility level counts for the course and shortcut requirements and for how often you fail:
- An Indomitable Skiller scroll sets your Agility level to 99 for an hour, so you can run the Wilderness course at any level. A Skill Boost scroll raises it by 25 levels for an hour. Both are on the Scrolls page.
- The Divine Skilling Zone boosts your skills by 25 levels, up to 99, while you are inside.
- With a boosted level of 120 or more you never fall off the Wilderness rope swing or log balance.
Other scrolls
- The Double Harvest scroll and the Well of Goodwill's Double Harvest perk double the skilling points of every lap, and on the Wilderness course you get two tickets per lap.
Shortcuts
Your Agility level also opens shortcuts in the Wilderness. They are only for getting around and give no experience to speak of.
| Shortcut | Where | |
|---|---|---|
| 60 | Wilderness God Wars Dungeon (level 29) | |
| 65 | Revenant Caves | |
| 72 | Near the Chaos Temple (level 14) | |
| 74 | To the Lava Dragon Isle (level 37) | |
| 75 | Revenant Caves | |
| 77 | Slayer Cave | |
| 82 | North side of the Lava Maze (level 45) | |
| 89 | Revenant Caves | |
| 250 Wilderness course laps | Deep Wilderness Dungeon (level 51) |
Members of a clan with the The Agile clan perk can use every shortcut without the level or lap requirement.
Training by level
The numbers of laps below use the experience per lap in Courses, without the Graceful outfit or other bonuses.
Levels 1–35: Gnome Stronghold
Run the Gnome Stronghold Agility Course (purple portal at ::agility). Every lap gives 1,068 experience and 200 skilling points, and you cannot fail. You need about 21 laps to reach level 35, about 15 minutes.
Safe area
Levels 35–52: Barbarian Outpost
The Barbarian Outpost Agility Course (blue portal) gives 2,044 experience and 666 skilling points per lap. You need about 50 laps to reach level 52, about half an hour.
Safe area
Levels 52–99: Wilderness
The Wilderness Agility Course (red portal) is the best course for everyone below level 85 and for everyone without the Divine Donator rank. Every lap gives 6,876 experience, 4,000 skilling points and a ticket. From 52 to 99 you need about 1,880 laps, about 21 hours, and from 52 to 85 about 460. Bring as little as you can afford to lose, and keep cashing in your tickets.
Levels 85–99: Divine Agility Course
Divine Donators get 11,940 experience and 4,500 skilling points per lap on the Divine Agility Course, which you can use from level 60 thanks to the zone's level boost. From 85 to 99 you need about 820 laps, about 12 hours.
Best experience and profit
The Divine Agility Course gives the most experience, about 824,000 an hour without boosts, and the Wilderness course the most skilling points: about 414,000 an hour with tickets at 700 each, or 493,000 at 1,600. A Wilderness lap and its ticket together are worth 4,500 to 5,600 skilling points, depending on how many tickets you cash in at once. You can turn skilling points into PK points at 2 skilling points for 1 PK point.
AFK Agility
Main article: AFK Skilling
In the AFK Skilling zone (::afkskilling) you can train Agility on the AFK log balances once you have level 50 Agility. You do not get skilling points, and the experience is lower than running a course, but your character keeps going while you are away and you earn AFK Tokens for the AFK Skilling Shop. The Graceful outfit, the Ring of endurance, vote streak, clan perk and double experience count there too. Divine Donators also have AFK log balances in their own zone.

Other rewards
- Pet: when you finish a lap you can receive the
Giant squirrel skilling pet. It comes more often in the Wilderness and the Divine Skilling Zone. - Clue scrolls and Skilling Crates: finishing a lap can also give you a clue scroll or a
Skilling Crate. - Achievements give skilling points for your Agility level and experience and for the number of laps on the Gnome, Barbarian and Wilderness courses. Reaching level 99 also gives a
Silver XP Lamp. - Skillcapes: at level 99 you can wear the
Agility cape, which the Skilling Master in the Skilling Zone gives out for free. With 200 million Agility experience you can buy the Agility mastery cape from him for 200,000 PK points.
