Ancestral robes

Ancestral robes are a set of magic armour made of the Ancestral hat, Ancestral robe top and Ancestral robe bottom. Every piece needs level 75 Magic and 65 Defence. Each piece gives +3% magic damage, the highest magic damage bonus for its slot in the ::bis interface (+9% for the set), and their magic attack (+8, +35 and +26) is tied for the highest with Virtus robes. Virtus has better defences and prayer but only +2% magic damage per piece; on Roat Pkz each Virtus piece also adds 3% to Ancient Magicks damage, so with Ancient Magicks a full Virtus set adds 15% damage against Ancestral's 9%.

Combat stats

Full set: +69 magic attack, +9% magic damage, -17 ranged attack, and +81 stab, +66 slash, +94 crush and +53 magic defence. The robes give no ranged defence.

Shop

The Bounty Hunter shop sells every piece for Bounty Hunter points:

• Ancestral hat: 15,000
• Ancestral robe top: 30,000
• Ancestral robe bottom: 30,000

Chambers of Xeric

All three pieces are on the Chambers of Xeric rare reward table. Each piece takes up 50 of the table's 638 entries, so about 1 in 13 rare rewards is a given Ancestral piece. Your chance to get a rare reward at all goes up with your raid points (roughly 1% per 3,000 points, more with a donator rank or in hard mode).

• Divine monster implings: the jar can contain any of the three pieces.
• Crates and boxes: Diamond Crate (any piece), Mythical Crate (top or bottom), Bounty Hunter Crates (tier 3: any piece; tier 4: a full Ancestral robes set; tier 5: top or bottom), PvP Mystery Box (any piece) and Stardust Mystery Box (top or bottom).
• Trading post: all pieces are tradeable.
• Item set: the three pieces can be swapped for an Ancestral robes set (and back) at the item sets interface.

Use a Twisted ancestral colour kit on an Ancestral piece to recolour it. Each piece needs its own kit. Twisted pieces have exactly the same stats and requirements; only the look changes. The Dismantle option gives back the normal piece and the kit. All three twisted pieces can be swapped for a Twisted Ancestral set at the item sets interface.

The colour kit costs 2,000 Bounty Hunter points in the Bounty Hunter shop and is also on the Chambers of Xeric rare table (50 of 638 entries). Finished twisted pieces can also come from a Gold Wilderness Chest.

Last Man Standing

Last Man Standing has its own copies of the three pieces in its loot table. They only exist inside the minigame, and the LMS hat gives +2% magic damage instead of +3%.
