The Arkan blade is a one-handed slash weapon that needs 60 Attack. It attacks every 4 ticks (2.4 seconds) with +70 slash attack, +55 stab attack, +64 strength and +1 prayer. Next to the Dragon scimitar, which has the same requirement and speed, it has 3 more slash attack and far more stab attack (+55 against +8) for 2 less strength, and its special attack is a strong hit that also sets the target on fire. It costs 5,000 PK points in the PK Point Shop and is tradeable.

Special attack

The special attack costs 30% special attack energy and is a single hit with:

• a max hit of 1.5 times your normal max hit (rounded down), and
• an attack roll multiplied by 1.5, checked against the target's slash defence.

With 100% special attack energy you can use it three times in a row.

If the hit deals damage, the target starts to burn: it takes 1 damage straight away and then 1 damage every 5 ticks (3 seconds), ten more times. Each special that hits a target that is already burning adds another burn of ten hits, up to five burns at once, and every burn hit deals 1 damage for each burn on the target. Burning works on players and monsters; the Kraken cannot be burnt.
