The Granite maul is a two-handed crush weapon that needs 50 Attack and 50 Strength. It is slow (every 7 ticks, 4.2 seconds) and its bonuses are modest (+81 crush, +79 strength), but its special attack hits instantly, without waiting for your attack timer, so in PvP it can add an extra hit right after another attack. It comes in the Pure Pking starter kit. It costs 1,000 PK Points in the PK Point Shop.

Special attack
The special attack costs 50% special attack energy. It is an instant attack: as soon as you are in range of your target, the maul hits straight away instead of waiting for your attack timer, and it does not reset the timer for your next normal attack. The special adds 25% to your accuracy multiplier and uses your normal max hit.
- Clicking the special attack bar twice within the same tick (0.6 seconds) queues two specials, which hit at the same time. This needs 100% special attack energy.
- Wielding the maul does not stop your current attack, so you can switch to it and use the special right after a hit from another weapon.

Variants
Granite maul (or): the granite maul with a Granite clamp attached (item 24227; in game it keeps the name Granite maul). Use a granite clamp (500 Bounty Hunter points in the Bounty Hunter shop) on the maul to make it. It has the same stats and the same instant special attack, and its Revert option takes the clamp off again.
