The holy scythe of Vitur is the Scythe of vitur with a holy ornament kit attached to it. On Roat Pkz the kit is much more than a cosmetic: against monsters it adds up to +9 max hit based on your Prayer, an unlimited recoil effect, full heals while you fight, and three hits on monsters of every size. It requires 80 Attack and 90 Strength to wield, the same as the scythe of Vitur.

The Holy scythe ornament kit is a rare reward from the Theatre of Blood. You can dismantle the holy scythe at any time to get the scythe and the kit back.

How to get it

The Holy scythe ornament kit is one of the purple (unique) rewards of the Theatre of Blood, next to the Scythe of vitur and the Sanguine scythe ornament kit. It can come from a purple in Normal Mode or Hard Mode. Hard Mode adds +0.1 to your purple chance on top of your other bonuses, such as your donator rank and a collector's ring. Use the kit on a Scythe of vitur to make the holy scythe. Both the kit and the finished scythe are tradeable.

Unique effects

All of these effects only work against monsters:

• Prayer-based max hit: +1 max hit for every 10 Prayer points you currently have, up to +9 at 90 to 99 Prayer points. Your current points count, so the bonus drops as your Prayer drains.
• Three hits on every monster: every attack hits three times (100%, 50% and 25% of the first hit), even on monsters of size 1. A normal Scythe of vitur only does this on large monsters.
• Hits through Protect from Melee: the scythe ignores a monster's Protect from Melee prayer.
• Unlimited recoil: like a ring of recoil that never breaks, monsters that hit you take 10% of the damage back (at least 1). It does not work against players.
• Full heal every 200 damage: every time you deal 200 damage to monsters with the scythe, your Hitpoints are fully restored, and your Prayer is fully restored a moment later.

The kit also adds +10 Prayer and +15 to every defence bonus compared to the normal scythe. These stat bonuses work everywhere, also in PvP.
