Special Weapons
Special Weapons are upgraded versions of the Twisted bow and the Scythe of vitur with powers of their own on Roat Pkz. Each one is made by using a rare upgrade item on the base weapon, and Dismantle gives both parts back. Their powers only work against monsters: against players they work like the base weapon, with their own stats.

Twisted bows
Both upgraded bows keep the Twisted bow's effect: their damage and accuracy scale with the target's Magic level, and their max hit is capped at 250. They have built-in arrows that count as dragon arrows, so they need no ammunition, and they need 75 Ranged to wield.
Vespula's twisted bow
Main article: Vespula's twisted bow
- Venom: every arrow venoms the monster, even monsters that are normally immune. The venom deals 20 damage every 18 seconds, up to 200 damage to each monster.
- Healing: each venom hit heals your Hitpoints and restores your Prayer by the damage it deals (not while you are fighting another player).
- Second arrow: an arrow that deals damage is followed by a second venom arrow for 15% of its damage.
- Thorns: monsters that attack you with melee, ranged or magic take 8 damage when they hit you for 0, or 4 when they damage you.
- +15 to every defence bonus.
Craw's twisted bow
Main article: Craw's twisted bow
- Wilderness bonus: 35% more damage and accuracy against monsters in the Wilderness and the Royal and Divine donator zones.
- Revenants and Third Age monsters: 50% instead, and it attacks a tick faster against them (the faster attacks work anywhere). This covers all revenants, the Royal Revenants, the Revenant maledictus and the Third Age warrior, ranger and mage.
- Healing: every arrow that hits a monster heals your Hitpoints and restores your Prayer by 1% of the damage for each tile between you and the target, up to 10%.
- +10 Prayer. No charges needed.

Scythes
Both scythes are the Scythe of vitur with an ornament kit attached. They need the same 80 Attack and 90 Strength and have the same attack and strength bonuses (+125 slash, +75 strength), attack every 5 ticks, and keep the Scythe of vitur's +100% melee accuracy multiplier. Both ornament kits are rare rewards from the Theatre of Blood (1/649 each per unique roll), and both come with the Scythe of vitur as the Theatre of Blood Collection log completion reward.
Holy scythe of vitur
Main article: Holy scythe of vitur
- Prayer damage: +1 max hit for every 10 Prayer points you have, up to +9.
- 3 hits on every monster, whatever its size.
- Hits through Protect from Melee on monsters that pray against melee.
- Unlimited recoil: monsters that hit you take 10% of the damage back (at least 1), like a ring of recoil that never runs out.
- Full heal: every 200 damage you deal to monsters fully restores your Hitpoints and Prayer.
- +15 to every defence bonus and +10 Prayer.
Sanguine scythe of vitur
Main article: Sanguine scythe of vitur
- 4 hits on every monster, whatever its size: the full hit, then 50%, 25% and another 50% of it.
- +5% damage and +5% accuracy against monsters.
Hits against monsters
The extra hits are fractions of the first hit, rounded down, so they all miss when the first one misses.
| Monster size | |||
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 tile | 1 hit (100%) | 3 hits (100% + 50% + 25%) | 4 hits (100% + 50% + 25% + 50%) |
| 2×2 | 2 hits (100% + 50%) | 3 hits | 4 hits |
| 3×3 and bigger | 3 hits (100% + 50% + 25%) | 3 hits | 4 hits |
| Total damage of one swing | 100%, 150% or 175% of the first hit | 175% | 225% |
The Reaper scroll gives the normal Scythe of vitur 3 hits against every size while it is active.

Which one to use
- In the Wilderness and the Royal and Divine zones, and above all against revenants and Third Age monsters, Craw's twisted bow is the strongest of the bows.
- For long fights, Vespula's twisted bow and the Holy scythe of vitur keep you going: Vespula's venom heals you and restores your Prayer, and the Holy scythe fully restores both every 200 damage.
- For the most damage per swing against monsters of any size, the Sanguine scythe of vitur lands four hits.
- Against monsters that pray against melee, only the Holy scythe of vitur can hit them with melee.
- Against players, the powers do nothing, so pick by stats alone.
Holiday versions
- The holiday scythes Scythe of skulls (2023), Bunny Scythe (2025) and H'ween Mask Scythe (2026) have the Sanguine scythe's powers, and need only 75 Attack and 75 Strength.
- The holiday twisted bows Christmas Twisted bow (2023) and Summer Twisted Bow (2025) work like the normal Twisted bow, with +4 Prayer.
