The Blessed spirit shield is a shield that needs level 70 Defence and 60 Prayer to wield. You make it by blessing a Spirit shield with a holy elixir, and it is the base for the three sigil shields: the Arcane spirit shield, the Spectral spirit shield and the Elysian spirit shield. On its own it has +73 crush defence, only two less than the best shields in the ::bis interface, plus solid stab, slash and ranged defence and +3 prayer, so it is also a cheap tank shield.

Use a holy elixir on a spirit shield and confirm. The blessing cannot be undone. Holy elixirs are dropped by:

All three keep the blessed shield's defences or improve on them (the Elysian has +75 crush defence), and all three give +3 prayer.
