The Ancient godsword is a two-handed slash weapon that needs 75 Attack. It has the same stats as the Armadyl godsword (+132 slash attack, +132 strength and +8 prayer) and attacks every 6 ticks (3.6 seconds). Its special attack hits for 10% more damage and, against players, marks the target for a blood sacrifice that deals 25 damage and heals you unless they get away in time.

Special attack

The special attack costs 50% special attack energy. It multiplies your max hit by 1.1 (rounded down) and your attack roll by 1.7, checked against the target's slash defence.

If it deals damage to a player, that player is marked for a blood sacrifice and gets a warning message. Seven ticks (4.2 seconds) later, if they are still within 4 tiles of you, they take 25 damage and you heal 15 Hitpoints (up to your maximum). Moving 5 or more tiles away avoids the damage. Against monsters only the damage and accuracy boosts apply.
