Divine Nex is a Divine Donator version of Nex. She lives in the Divine Monster Dungeon, a PvP area that only Divine Donators can teleport to. She has the same stats and attacks as the normal Nex, but her own drop table, kill count and Collection log page.

Nex gets stronger for every player who attacks her, so she can be fought alone or in a group. Every player who damages her gets PK points and supplies when she dies, and one of them wins the drop.

Getting there

  • Type ::divinepvm in game (also ::divinecave), or open the Teleport interface and choose Donator → Divine Monster Dungeon. You must be a Divine Donator to use this teleport.
  • The teleport takes you to the dungeon entrance. Climb into the strange hole and confirm that you want to enter the PvP zone.
  • You cannot teleport out of the dungeon. Leave by climbing the rope instead. The rope does not work while you are teleblocked, or for 9 seconds after you use a special attack on a player.

Fighting Divine Nex with a Zaryte crossbow in the Divine PvM Cave

Nex is in the lower part of the dungeon. Several players can attack her at the same time.

Fight overview

  • Nex is not aggressive. She only attacks players who have attacked her, but once you hit her she attacks everyone who has damaged her at the same time.
  • She mostly uses magic (max hit 33, up to 9 tiles away). If you stand next to her, about one attack in four is a melee hit (max hit 30).
  • You cannot attack her from more than 7 tiles away, even with a longer-range weapon.
  • If nobody fights her for about a minute, she forgets who attacked her.

Scaling with players

  • Nex starts with 3,500 hitpoints. Each extra player who damages her adds 500 to her maximum hitpoints and heals her by 500.
  • All of her other combat levels go up by 3% for each player who has attacked her.

Prayer phases

Nex changes her overhead prayer every 16 ticks (9.6 seconds), in this order:

  1. No prayer.
  2. Soul Split: she heals 15% of the damage she deals.
  3. Deflect Melee: any melee hit that damages her deals half of that damage back to the attacker. Switch to ranged or magic during this phase.

Then the cycle starts again.

Wrath

When Nex dies she shouts "Taste my wrath!". About 3 seconds later, 6 explosions land on random tiles within 4 tiles of her. Anyone standing on one of those tiles takes 20–45 damage, so move away from her body as soon as she dies.

Rewards

When Nex dies, every player who damaged her receives:

  • PK points equal to twice their damage, counting up to 1,500 damage (so up to 3,000 PK points). This is doubled while double drops are active.
  • 3 Anglerfish and 3 potions, each a Sanfew serum(4) or a Saradomin brew(4).

One player gets the drop table roll. The winner is picked at random, weighted by how much damage each player dealt. Drops are announced to players nearby with the winner's damage share.

Kill count, Slayer and hiscores

  • Divine Nex has its own kill count and Collection log page. Completing the collection log lets you claim 12 Monster Crates.
  • She counts towards a Slayer task for Nex and gives 1,000 base Slayer experience.
  • Kills count towards the daily Nex Kills hiscore, together with the normal Nex.

Setups

Warning: The Divine Monster Dungeon is a PvP zone. Other players can attack you, and you lose your items if you die. Do not bring items you are not willing to lose.

These setups come from what players wear when they kill the Divine Nex. Each tab shows the gear most players use at that price, what it costs, and how long a solo kill usually takes with it. Prices are in PK points (PKP) at today's in-game prices, and spawnable items are free to spawn. Almost everyone fights it in mid or max gear.

Typical solo kill: too few kills in this gear to measure

  • Very few players fight the Divine version in gear this cheap. This is the setup that works on the normal version, so expect slower kills.

Drops

Note: You will receive a hidden 20% drop boost if you're skulled while killing Divine Nex!

Only the player who wins the drop rolls on the table. The pet is rolled on its own, so you can get the pet and an item from the same kill. The other drops are rolled from rarest to most common, and the first one you hit is your drop. If you hit none of them, you get one of the four godswords at random.
