The Saradomin godsword is a two-handed melee weapon that requires level 75 Attack. It has the standard godsword stats: +132 Slash attack, +132 Strength and +8 Prayer. Among weapons in the ::bis interface only the Elder maul and Noxious halberd have more Strength, and only the Holy scythe of vitur has more Prayer.
Players use it for its special attack, which heals Hitpoints and restores Prayer when it hits for 20 or more.

It attacks every 6 ticks (3.6 seconds).
Special attack
The special attack costs 50% special attack energy. It is one hit with a 10% higher max hit and a 70% higher accuracy roll, rolled against the target's Slash defence.
If the hit deals 20 or more damage, you heal Hitpoints equal to half of the damage and restore Prayer points equal to a quarter of it. Neither can go above your normal maximum, and hits below 20 damage heal nothing. For example, a 44 damage hit heals 22 Hitpoints and restores 11 Prayer.

- Common table: when a kill rolls no unique item, one item from the boss's common table is given at random. The rate shown is the share of the common table.
- Gemstone Crab, TzTok-Jad and Skotizo share their drops between attackers based on damage dealt. At TzTok-Jad and Skotizo the top-damage player (MVP) gets a reward from a separate MVP table instead.
- Every attacker of the Avatar of Destruction gets one reward based on their total damage. 750–2,499 damage gives one of the Bandos, Saradomin or Zamorak godsword or an Abyssal tentacle. With 2,500 or more damage the unique table is used instead, so no godsword.
