The Divine Third Age Mage is a magic monster in the Divine Monster Dungeon, the PvP cave for Divine Donators. It is one of three Divine Third Age monsters, together with the Divine Third Age Warrior and the Divine Third Age Ranger. All three share the same drop table, apart from their pet.

Its drops include the Vesta's, Statius's, Morrigan's and Zuriel's equipment, the unfinished Wilderness weapons (Viggora's chainmace, Craw's bow and Thammaron's sceptre), the Divine emblem tiers and the Divine Third Age Mage pet.

Slayer

The Divine Third Age Mage counts towards a Divine Third Age Slayer task, together with the Warrior and the Ranger. Only Divine Donators can pick this task, through a Choose Wisely scroll (50–100 kills); Krystilia never assigns it at random. Each kill on task gives 2,500 Slayer experience before the Slayer XP boosts. The task teleport takes you to the entrance of the Divine Monster Dungeon.

Getting there

Type ::divinepvm in game (also ::divine-pvm, ::divinecave or ::divine-cave), or open the Teleport interface and choose Divine Monster Dungeon. Only Divine Donators can use this teleport.
The teleport takes you to the cave entrance. Climb into the Strange hole and accept the warning that it leads to a PvP zone.
You cannot teleport out of the dungeon. Leave through the rope next to where you arrive. If you die in the dungeon, you respawn at the entrance.

Locations

There are 11 Divine Third Age Mages in the north part of the dungeon, mixed in with the other Divine Third Age monsters.

Fight overview

The Mage attacks with magic (an Earth Wave spell) from a distance and can hit up to 30 every 2.4 seconds. Protect from Magic blocks its attacks.
It only uses this one attack style, even when you stand next to it.
It is not aggressive, so it only fights you once you attack it.
It cannot be frozen.
It is undead, so the Salve amulet bonus works against it.
It has 500 hitpoints and respawns 21 seconds after it dies.
The Divine Monster Dungeon is a PvP zone. Other Divine Donators can attack you while you fight.

Kill count and rewards

Divine Third Age Mage kills have their own kill count. The Warrior, Ranger and Mage share the Divine Third Age Monsters page in the collection log.
The Mage can drop elite and master clue scrolls.
Equipment, Wilderness weapon and Divine emblem drops are announced in the server's PvM drop messages.

Warning: This boss is located within the Wilderness, beware of player-killers! Do not bring items you are not willing to lose.

The Mage has a Defence bonus of 200 against every style, so it has no weak style. Use Protect from Magic to block its attacks.

Each kill gives 500–1,000 PK points. The pet is rolled separately. The other drops are rolled one by one from the rarest down, and the first one you hit is your drop, so you get at most one of them per kill. Most kills only give the PK points. Each item has its own drop rate, as shown below.
