The Divine Chaos Elemental is a Divine version of the Chaos Elemental. It lives in the Divine Monster Dungeon, a PvP cave that only Divine Donators can use. It has the same combat stats and attacks as the normal Chaos Elemental, but it has its own drop table with the Divine relics and the Pet Divine Chaos elemental.
It respawns 8.4 seconds after it dies.
Getting there
- Type ::divinepvm in game (also ::divine-pvm, ::divinecave or ::divine-cave), or open the Teleport interface and choose Divine Monster Dungeon.
- You arrive next to a strange hole. Click it and confirm the warning ("This hole leads to a PvP Zone, enter?") to climb down into the cave.
- To leave, climb the rope near where you enter the cave.
- You need the Divine Donator rank to move around in the cave. Players without it are teleported out.

Fighting the Divine Chaos Elemental in its chamber of the Divine Monster Dungeon (::divinepvm, Divine Donators)
Fight overview
- After every attack, the Divine Chaos Elemental picks its next attack at random from the list below.
- It attacks every player in range at the same time, not just the player it is fighting.
- Monsters in the Divine Monster Dungeon do not attack you on sight, so the fight only starts when you attack it.
- Its damaging attacks all use the same projectile, so you cannot see which combat style is coming. Magic is the most common one.
| Attack |
Chance |
Effect
|
| Magic |
3 in 8 |
Deals up to 28 Magic damage.
|
| Ranged |
1 in 8 |
Deals up to 28 Ranged damage.
|
| Melee |
1 in 8 |
Deals up to 28 Melee damage, even from a distance.
|
| Madness (unequip) |
2 in 8 |
If you have at least one free inventory slot, each item you wear has a 1 in 4 chance of being moved into your inventory, until your inventory is full. Keep your inventory full to stop this.
|
| Confusion (teleport) |
1 in 8 |
Teleports you to a random tile up to 3 tiles away from where you stand.
|
- The matching protection prayer blocks all damage from its Magic, Ranged and Melee attacks. Protect from Magic blocks the most common one.
- Its unequip and teleport attacks do no damage.
- Inside the Divine Monster Dungeon, all players get 10% extra accuracy against monsters, and melee and ranged attacks also get a 10% higher max hit.
Kill count and Slayer
- Divine Chaos Elemental kills have their own kill count and their own Collection log entry. They also count towards the daily Chaos Elemental kills hiscore.
- Kills count towards a Chaos Elemental Slayer task and give 325 Slayer experience.
- It can drop clue scrolls of every tier, including elite and master.
Setups
Warning: The Divine Monster Dungeon is a PvP zone. Other players of any combat level can attack you there, and you lose items when you die. Do not bring items you are not willing to lose. Type ::divinerules to read the PvP rules for the Divine zones.
These setups come from what players wear when they kill the Divine Chaos Elemental. Each tab shows the gear most players use at that price, what it costs, and how long a solo kill usually takes with it. Prices are in PK points (PKP) at today's in-game prices, and spawnable items are free to spawn. Almost everyone fights it in mid or max gear. Like the normal Chaos Elemental, its attacks can move your gear into free inventory slots, so these setups fill all 28.
Typical solo kill: too few kills in this gear to measure
- Very few players fight the Divine version in gear this cheap. This is the setup that works on the normal version, so expect slower kills.

Typical solo kill: about 15 seconds
- The Sanguine scythe of vitur gives the fastest kills in this tier.
- The sanguine scythe is two-handed, so there is no shield.
- An Infernal cape has the same stats as the Infernal max cape.
Drops
Note: You will receive a hidden 20% drop boost if you're skulled while killing Divine Chaos Elemental!
Each kill gives one roll on the table below. Pets are rolled separately, so you can get the pet and an item from the same kill. The rarest drops are checked first, and the first one you hit is your drop. If you do not hit any of them, you get one of the common drops at random. Being skulled in the Divine Monster Dungeon gives a 20% better drop rate. Every kill also drops Ashes.
