The Abyssal tentacle is a one-handed slash weapon that needs 75 Attack. It attacks every 4 ticks (2.4 seconds) with +90 slash attack and +86 strength, can poison its target, and turns into an abyssal whip after 1,500 attacks. The PK Point Shop sells it for 2,500 PK Points.

Effect
- Poison: every hit that deals damage has a 20% chance to poison the target with 4-damage poison.
- Charges: the tentacle can attack 1,500 times. The count is stored on your account (not on the item) and the Check option shows how many attacks are left. When it reaches zero, the tentacle in your weapon slot turns into an abyssal whip. Attacks made inside minigames do not use charges.
Special attack
The special attack costs 50% special attack energy and uses normal accuracy and damage. If it deals damage, the target is bound in place for 9 ticks (5.4 seconds). It works on players and on monsters that can be frozen.

At the Gemstone Crab, every attacker gets a drop roll with a chance of ten times their share of the total damage (10% of the damage or more guarantees a roll), and the ~1/7 rate applies to each roll.

Variants
- Abyssal tentacle (or) (item 26484): made by using a Shattered relics variety ornament kit (100 vote points in the Voting shop) on the tentacle. Same stats, poison and special attack, with its own 1,500-attack count. When it runs out it becomes an abyssal whip and the kit goes back to your inventory. It can be dismantled to get the tentacle and the kit back.
- Abyssal tentacle (starter) (item 31801): an untradeable copy given in the Main Pking, Pure Pking, Tribrid Pking, Pure Nh and PvMer starter kits. Same bonuses, poison and special attack, but it turns into an abyssal whip after 1,000 attacks.
