The Fire cape is a cape with no level requirements. It gives +4 melee strength, +11 to every defence, +2 prayer and +1 to every attack bonus. In the ::bis interface only the TokHaar-kal, the Infernal cape and the Infernal max cape (+8 each) have more melee strength among capes. It is untradeable but easy to get: it comes in several starter kits and costs 1,000 PK points.

TzTok-Jad always includes a Fire cape in its normal drop. Every attacker except the top-damage player (MVP) gets a chance at that drop based on their share of the damage (20% of the damage or more guarantees it). The MVP rolls Jad's MVP table instead, which has no Fire cape.
Other sources
- Starter kits: new accounts that pick the Main Pking, Pure Pking or PvMer starter kit get a Fire cape.
- Clue scrolls: a possible reward from elite reward caskets.
- Crates and boxes: Bronze Crate, Vote Mystery Box and the small (bronze) tier of the holiday event boxes.
Fire max cape
Use the Fire cape on a Max cape to make a Fire max cape and Fire max hood (your Max hood is used up as well). The Fire max cape has the same stats as the Fire cape and adds the max cape features. Its Disassemble option gives back the Fire cape, Max cape and Max hood.
