Bandos tassets are melee leg armour that need level 65 Defence to wear. They give +2 melee strength and +93 ranged defence for only 5,000 PK points, which makes them a cheap all-round choice for melee setups. Only Torva, Justiciar and Statius's legs have more ranged defence in the ::bis interface, and only Torva, Statius's and Vesta's legs have more melee strength.

At the Gemstone Crab, your chance of getting a roll on its drop table is ten times your share of the total damage, so dealing 10% of the damage or more guarantees a roll.

- Achievements: rewards for Nex kills (42, 60, 150 and 200 kills), Venenatis kills (275, 850, 1,600 and 2,000), Chaos Elemental kills (9,500), Bounty Hunter kills (475 and 1,250), Overall kills (625, 1,600 and 7,000), Single kills (625, 1,250 and 2,500), Main Melee kills (625, 1,250 and 2,000), Zerker kills (475 and 2,000) and Multi kills (2,000). The bigger tiers give several noted tassets.
- Trading post: the tassets are tradeable.
Other uses
- Worn together with a Bandos chestplate, they count as Bandos armour for the medium daily task "Deal 2,500 PvP damage while wearing Bandos armour".
- Several hard, elite and master clue scroll steps ask you to wear them.
Variants
- Last Man Standing hands out its own copy of the tassets (item 23646) from its loot table. It has the same stats and no level requirement, and it only exists inside the minigame.
