Divine Vet'ion is a Divine Donator version of Vet'ion. He lives in the Divine Monster Dungeon, a PvP cave that only Divine Donators can use. He has the same stats and attacks as the normal Vet'ion, but his own drop table, kill count and Collection log page.

He respawns 30 seconds after he dies.

Getting there

  • Type ::divinepvm in game (also ::divine-pvm, ::divinecave or ::divine-cave), or open the Teleport interface and choose Divine Monster Dungeon. Only Divine Donators can use this teleport.
  • The teleport takes you to the cave entrance. Climb into the strange hole and accept the warning that it leads to a PvP zone.
  • You cannot teleport out of the dungeon. Leave by climbing the rope next to where you arrive.

Crushing Divine Vet'ion with an Inquisitor's mace in the Divine PvM Cave while his skeleton hellhound joins in

Fight overview

Vet'ion is highly resistant to every style except crush (his crush defence is −10). As he is undead, the Salve amulet works against him. Monsters in the Divine Monster Dungeon do not attack you on sight, so the fight only starts when you attack him.

Vet'ion has several attacks and abilities:

  • Lightning: Bolts of lightning strike tiles around his lair. Each attack strikes 4 random tiles plus one tile on or next to every player within 12 tiles. The tiles light up first, so you have time to step away. A bolt hits for 7–32 on its own tile and 1–16 on the tiles next to it.
  • Shield bash: When you stand next to him, he sometimes (1 in 5) raises his shield and smashes the area in front of him. Shadows show where it will land. If you are still on those tiles, you take 13–20 damage (15–25 when he is enraged) and your next attack is delayed by 4.8 seconds.
  • Skeleton hounds: When he drops below half health, he summons a skeleton hound for every player who has attacked him (plus one for his current target). He takes no damage while any hound is alive.
  • Enraged form: When his health reaches 0 the first time, he heals back to full and strikes a ring of lightning around himself (7–32 damage on those tiles). He takes no damage for about 4.8 seconds while this happens. In this form his lightning comes every 2.4 seconds. He dies when his health reaches 0 again.
  • Every player after the first who attacks him adds 250 hitpoints and 3% to his combat levels (up to 20 players).

Rewards

  • When he dies, every player who damaged him gets 2 PK points per damage (damage counts up to 750, so at most 1,500 PK points), plus 2 Anglerfish and 2 potions (Sanfew serum(4) or Saradomin brew(4)).
  • One player wins the drop table roll. The more damage you dealt, the higher your chance to be that player.
  • Divine Vet'ion has his own kill count and Collection log page. Kills count towards a Vet'ion Slayer task and give 1,000 Slayer experience. They also count towards the daily Vet'ion kills hiscore.
  • He can drop clue scrolls of every tier, including elite and master.

Setups

Warning: The Divine Monster Dungeon is a PvP zone. Other Divine Donators can attack you there, and you lose items when you die. Do not bring items you are not willing to lose. Type ::divinerules to read the PvP rules for the Divine zones.

These setups come from what players wear when they kill the Divine Vet'ion. Each tab shows the gear most players use at that price, what it costs, and how long a solo kill usually takes with it. Prices are in PK points (PKP) at today's in-game prices, and spawnable items are free to spawn. Almost everyone fights it in mid or max gear.

Drops

Note: You will receive a hidden 20% drop boost if you're skulled while killing Divine Vet'ion!

The pet is rolled separately. The other drops are rolled one by one from the rarest down, and the first one you hit is your drop. If you do not hit any of them, you get the PK points from the common drops table. Every kill also drops Big bones. Being skulled in the Divine Monster Dungeon gives a 20% better drop rate.
