The Ursine chainmace is a one-handed crush weapon that needs 70 Attack. It is made from the Claws of Callisto and Viggora's chainmace (u) and charged with revenant ether. While it has charges it deals 50% more damage and is much more accurate against monsters in the Wilderness and the donator zones, and its special attack makes a player bleed and stops them from running. It attacks every 4 ticks (2.4 seconds).

Effect
While the mace has at least one charge, your attacks on monsters in the Wilderness, the Royal Donator Zone and the Divine donator areas get +50% max hit and +50% to the accuracy multiplier. The uncharged mace, or a charged one with no charges left, has no bonus.
Special attack
The special attack costs 50% special attack energy and only works with the charged mace. It doubles the attack roll and is checked against the target's slash defence; the damage is not boosted. Against players it also:
- makes them bleed for 4 damage every other tick, five times (20 damage over 10 ticks);
- turns off their run and stops them from turning it back on for 7 ticks (4.2 seconds);
- lowers their Agility level by 20.
These effects apply even if the special attack misses. Against monsters only the accuracy boost applies.
Charging
Use revenant ether, which every revenant drops, on the Ursine chainmace (u) to charge it. You need at least 1,000 ether to activate it; those 1,000 stay in the mace but are not usable charges. The mace holds up to 17,000 ether in total, so up to 16,000 charges. Each melee attack uses one charge. The Uncharge option returns all the ether, including the 1,000 used for activation. You can only own one charged Ursine chainmace at a time.
If you die in a dangerous area, all the ether in the mace drops for your killer and the mace turns back into the Ursine chainmace (u), even if you keep the mace.
How to get it
Use the Claws of callisto on Viggora's chainmace (u) to make the Ursine chainmace (u), then charge it. The (u) can be dismantled to get both parts back.

- The Ursine chainmace (u) is tradeable and can be bought from other players or on the Trading post; the charged mace cannot be traded.
Variants
- Ursine chainmace (u) (item 27657): the uncharged, tradeable version. It has the same stats but no special attack and no Wilderness bonus until it is charged.
