The Armadyl crossbow is a one-handed crossbow that requires level 70 Ranged and fires bolts, so it can be used with a shield. It has +100 Ranged attack and +1 Prayer but no Ranged strength of its own: its damage comes from the bolts. Its special attack doubles your accuracy for only 40% special attack energy, and it is cheap to buy from the PK Point Shop. Players can compare it in the ::bis interface.

The more expensive Zaryte crossbow has +110 Ranged attack, defensive bonuses, 10% stronger enchanted bolt effects and a special attack (75% energy) that always activates them.

Special attack

The special attack costs 40% special attack energy. It fires one bolt with double accuracy; the damage is not changed.

How to get it

Drops

Source Quantity Rate
Callisto 1 1/128
Divine Callisto 1 1/128
TzTok-Jad 2 1/10 per drop roll (one of ten common drops)
Skotizo 2 1/10 per drop roll (one of nine common drops)

TzTok-Jad and Skotizo are timed bosses: the player who deals the most damage gets an MVP reward instead, and every other player has a chance at a drop roll based on their share of the damage.
