The Dragon hunter crossbow is a one-handed crossbow that needs level 70 Ranged to wield. Its +95 ranged attack is the third highest of any crossbow in the ::bis interface, behind the Zaryte and Armadyl crossbows, but players bring it for its passive effect: +30% accuracy and +25% damage against dragons and the Great Olm.
It fires bolts, up to and including dragon bolts. It attacks every 6 ticks (5 on Rapid) and has an attack range of 7 tiles (9 on Longrange).
Effect
Against all dragons the crossbow has +30% accuracy and +25% damage (max hit). This covers the King Black Dragon, the King Divine Dragon and green, black and lava dragons.
It can also come from a Bounty Hunter Crate (tier 2) and a Stardust Mystery Box (Shooting Star).
It is tradeable, so it can be bought from other players on the Trading post.

Use Kbd heads on a Dragon hunter crossbow and confirm. Dismantle gives back the crossbow and the heads.
Same stats and effect. It cannot be traded. If it is lost on death to another player, the killer gets a normal Dragon hunter crossbow and the heads are gone.
