Torag's equipment

Torag the Corrupted, one of the six Barrows brothers.

Torag's equipment is the melee set of Torag the Corrupted, one of the six Barrows brothers. It is made of Torag's helm, Torag's platebody, Torag's platelegs and Torag's hammers. The armour needs 70 Defence and the hammers need 70 Attack and 70 Strength.

Torag's armour has the highest melee and ranged defence of the six Barrows sets. The helm's +62 ranged defence is the second highest of any helmet in the ::bis interface (shared with Guthan's helm; only the Justiciar faceguard has more), and the platebody's +122 stab defence is the second highest of any body, shared with the Dharok's and Guthan's platebodies. With all four pieces worn, your melee hits can drain your opponent's run energy (see Set effect). The whole set costs 1,000 PK points in the PK Point Shop.

The hammers attack every 6 ticks (3.6 seconds).

Set effect

While you wear all four pieces, each successful melee hit that deals damage has a 25% chance to drain 20% run energy from your target. Monsters have no run energy, so the effect only matters against players.

Barrows

Every piece can be found in the chest at the Barrows, which you can open after killing all six brothers.

PK Point Shop

The PK Point Shop at ::shops sells every piece for PK points:

• Torag's helm: 150
• Torag's platebody: 350
• Torag's platelegs: 350
• Torag's hammers: 150
• Torag's armour set (all four pieces in one item): 1,000

Other sources

• Crates: every piece can come from a Bronze Crate.
• Collection log: the reward for completing the Barrows Chests collection log includes a Torag's armour set.
• Achievements: the PvP achievement Obtain a Killstreak of 400 rewards a Torag's armour set.
• Trading post: all pieces are tradeable.
• Item set: the four pieces can be swapped for a Torag's armour set (and back) at the item sets interface.

Breaking and repair

Torag's equipment does not wear down while you use it; the Check option always shows a 100% charge. A piece only breaks when it is dropped on the floor outside the Barrows crypt, for example when you lose it on death. It then turns into its broken version, such as Torag's platebody 0, which has no bonuses and cannot be worn. Use the broken piece's Repair option to fix it for 25 PK points. Broken pieces are tradeable.

Other uses

• Dealing 1,500 PvP damage while wearing Torag's helm, platebody and platelegs is one of the easy daily tasks (the hammers are not needed).
• Some easy clue scroll steps ask you to wear Torag's helm or platebody, and a medium clue scroll step asks for the platebody.
