Witches are the event monsters of the 2026 Halloween event. You dig them up with a spade in the event area in the Wilderness, and they drop Halloween Tokens and the event's rare items.

There are three Witches, and each casts her own spell. They all have the same stats and the same drops.

Getting there

• Type ::hween to go to the Halloween Home, then step through the Spooky Portal next to the Mysterious Stranger.
• Run a little west, take out a spade and dig. A Witch rises from her grave next to you and attacks you.
• The event area is in level 31–37 single-way Wilderness, so other players can attack you there.

Fight overview

• You need a combat level of 126 to attack a Witch.
• Only one Witch can fight you at a time. Kill her before you dig again.
• Witches attack with magic only, with a max hit of 20. Protect from Magic blocks half of the damage, not all of it.
• They can't be poisoned or venomed, and thralls and cannons don't work on them.
• A Resurrection Shovel in your inventory digs up the next Witch for you after each kill.
• The Jar of Dark Magic stores a soul for every Witch you kill and boosts your accuracy and damage against them, up to +20%.

Slayer

• Read a Halloween Slayer scroll to replace your Slayer task with 15–50 Witches.
• While the event runs, the Lava Dragon task is called Witch/Lava Dragon, and Witches count towards it.
• A Witch gives 2,500 Slayer experience on task (before the Slayer XP boosts).

Drops

Each kill also counts towards the server-wide double tokens goal. While double tokens are on, token drops are doubled. With a Halloween Ring worn or in your inventory, Witch drops go straight to your inventory and the drop rates are 15% better.

A Witch drops 50–300 Halloween Tokens unless she drops one of the rarer items below. The pet is rolled on its own.
