The Dragon crossbow is a one-handed crossbow that needs 64 Ranged. It has +94 ranged attack, 4 more than the Rune crossbow, and it is the lowest-level crossbow that can fire dragon bolts and enchanted dragon bolts, the strongest bolts at +122 ranged strength. Because it is one-handed you can wear a shield with it, and its special attack fires a shot with twice the attack roll and a 20% higher max hit. It costs 2,500 PK points in the PK Point Shop and is also dropped by TzTok-Jad and Skotizo.

It attacks every 6 ticks (5 on Rapid) and has an attack range of 7 (9 on Longrange). Players can compare it with other ranged weapons in the ::bis interface.
Special attack
The special attack costs 60% special attack energy and fires a single bolt with:
- a max hit of 1.2 times your normal max hit (rounded down), and
- an attack roll multiplied by 2.
A full special attack bar is enough for one special attack.
Ammunition
The Dragon crossbow fires bolts, up to and including the 64 Ranged bolts:
dragon bolts (+122 ranged strength), free in the Ranged Accessories shop at home;
enchanted dragon bolts (+122), sold for 1 PK point or less each in the same shop; see that page for the bolt effects.
The Rune crossbow (61 Ranged) cannot fire either of them.

- PK Point Shop: 2,500 PKP.
- Clue scrolls: a possible reward from master reward caskets.
- Achievements: TzTok-Jad kills (6 kills give one crossbow), Skotizo kills (6 kills give two), killing 350 Bounty Hunter targets (one) and dealing 150,000 damage in HP events (one).
- Crates and boxes: the
Silver Crate (from player kills and Crate Frenzy), the Vote Mystery Box (Voting) and the silver (medium) tier of the holiday event boxes. - Trading post: the crossbow is tradeable.
