The Dragon battleaxe is a one-handed slash and crush weapon that needs 60 Attack. It attacks every 6 ticks (3.6 seconds), and its +85 strength bonus ties the Dragon warhammer for the highest of any one-handed dragon weapon. Players carry it for its special attack, which does not hit anything: it uses all of your special attack energy to set your Strength level 15% above your base level (113 at 99 Strength), and the boost stays when you switch to another weapon. It is free from the Melee Accessories shop at home. The Dragon battleaxe (cr), made with a Bounty hunter ornament kit, is a tradeable version with a new look.

Special attack
The special attack needs and uses all 100% of your special attack energy. It works as soon as you click the special attack bar: it is not an attack and does not need a target. Your character shouts "Raarrrrrgggggghhhhhhh!" and your current Strength level is set to your base Strength level plus 15% (rounded down), for example:

Because it changes your Strength level itself, the boost stays after you switch to another weapon, so you can use the special and then attack with a different weapon. It cannot be used in a duel with special attacks turned off.
How to get it
- Melee Accessories shop (the melee shop at home,
::shops): free. - The free battleaxe has no value, so it cannot be sold on the Trading post.
