The Dragon sword is a one-handed stab weapon that needs 60 Attack. It attacks every 4 ticks (2.4 seconds) with +65 stab attack, +55 slash attack and +63 strength. Players use it for its special attack: a single stab with a 25% higher max hit and 25% more accuracy for 40% special attack energy. It is free from the Melee Accessories shop at home. The Dragon sword (cr), made with a Bounty hunter ornament kit, has a new look but cannot be traded.

Special attack
The special attack costs 40% special attack energy and is a single hit with:
- a max hit of 1.25 times your normal max hit (rounded down), and
- an attack roll multiplied by 1.25, checked against the target's stab defence.
With 100% special attack energy you can use it twice in a row. It works the same way against players and monsters. Against players, Protect from Melee lowers the hit by 40%, as it does for other melee attacks.
Compared with the Dragon longsword special (25% energy, 1.15 times your max hit, checked against slash defence), it costs more energy but hits harder and is checked against stab defence.
How to get it
- Melee Accessories shop (the melee shop at home,
::shops): free. - The free sword has no value, so it cannot be sold on the Trading post.

Use a  Bounty hunter ornament kit (1,000 Bounty Hunter points in the Bounty Hunter shop) on a Dragon sword and confirm. Its Dismantle option gives back the sword and the kit (you need a free inventory slot). It cannot be traded or sold on the Trading post, but the kit you get back from dismantling it can. |
