The Dragon halberd is a two-handed stab and slash weapon that needs 60 Attack and 30 Strength. Like every halberd it can hit targets up to 2 tiles away, and its +95 slash attack is the highest of any dragon weapon. It is slow, attacking every 7 ticks (4.2 seconds), and its special attack is a 10% stronger hit for 30% special attack energy. It is free from the Melee Accessories shop at home. The Dragon halberd (cr), made with a Bounty hunter ornament kit, is a tradeable version with a new look.

Reach
With a halberd you can attack a player or monster up to 2 tiles away in any direction (one tile between you), as long as the line between you is clear, the same as for a ranged attack. Against large monsters the distance counts from the monster's nearest edge. You stop walking as soon as your target is in reach. Every halberd has this reach, including the Rune halberd from the same shop and the Noxious halberd.
Special attack
The special attack costs 30% special attack energy and is a single hit on your target with:
- a max hit of 1.1 times your normal max hit (rounded down), and
- your normal accuracy, checked against the target's slash defence.
It works the same way against players and monsters and keeps the halberd's 2-tile reach. With 100% special attack energy you can use it three times in a row.
How to get it
- Melee Accessories shop (the melee shop at home,
::shops): free. - The free halberd has no value, so it cannot be sold on the Trading post.
