Setups
These setups come from what players wear when they kill the Crazy Archaeologist. Each tab shows the gear most players use at that price, what it costs, and how long a solo kill usually takes with it. Prices are in PK points (PKP) as of October 2026, and spawnable items are free to spawn. Most players use melee.
Typical solo kill: about 20 seconds
- A charged Viggora's chainmace has 50% more accuracy and max hit against monsters in the Wilderness. It takes the setup just over 100K.
- Without it, a Ghrazi rapier (60,000
) is the next fastest at about 30 seconds.

Typical solo kill: about 12 seconds
- The Sanguine scythe of vitur gives the fastest kills. Max-gear Ursine chainmace users take about 16 seconds.
- The scythe is two-handed, so there is no shield.
- An Infernal cape has the same stats as the Infernal max cape.
