Events

Events are the activities on Roat Pkz that start at set times or that staff and players host. Every day the server runs Wilderness events such as Bloodlust, Clan Warfare and the Wilderness Chest, spawns a boss in the Wilderness every 15 minutes, and holds automatic Tournaments and Last Man Standing games. On top of that there are weekly events, events hosted by staff, and the seasonal Holiday events at Easter, in summer, at Halloween and at Christmas.
Most events reward PK points, crates or chests, and winning many of them also earns Clan Cup points for your clan. The Wilderness events take place in the normal Wilderness, so you lose your items if you die there.
All times on this page are server time.
Finding events
::eventsopens the Events list with every scheduled event of the day and its time. Click an event to read what it is.- The quest tab shows the next Wilderness events and bosses: their Wilderness level, whether the spot is single or multi, and how long until they start.
::locsshows where the events and bosses that are running right now are.- Events are announced in the chat and in the global broadcast before they start.
The Events window

Open it with ::events (or ::event, ::serverevents), with Server Events in the Player tab, or by clicking an events notice board.
- The list starts at the current hour, shown in green. Events from earlier in that hour are struck through.
- Hours that have already passed today come last, because their next run is tomorrow.
- Click an event to read what it is and how it works.
- Click a type in the Filter list to hide it, and again to show it.
- The clock under the filter shows the server time.
The window lists the scheduled events: automatic tournaments, Last Man Standing games (shown as Crate or OSRS LMS), the Shooting Star, Clan Warfare, the Crate Frenzy, the Wilderness Chest, the Gold Chest, Bloodlust and the Treasure Hunt. The timed bosses aren't in it; use Event Locations or the quest tab for those.
Event Locations

Open it with ::locs (or ::locations, ::bosslocs, ::bosslocations), with Wilderness Event Locations in the Player tab, or by clicking a Wilderness event or boss on the Server Events page of the Quest tab, which opens the map for that event. It can't be opened during a minigame.
Event Locations is a map of the Wilderness. Pick what it shows from the menu at the top:
- Live Now marks every event and boss that is running in the Wilderness right now, including HP events and the vote boss. Each marker shows the event's icon and its Wilderness level, with an extra icon for multi-combat. The markers blink.
- An event or boss, such as TzTok-Jad, Skotizo, Gold Chest or Bloodlust, shows every spot where it can appear, each with its Wilderness level. Multi-combat spots are marked.
Use it to plan your route and gear before an event starts. The window remembers the last map you picked.
Daily timetable
Every scheduled event of the day, hour by hour. Bloodlust, Clan Warfare, both Wilderness chests and the Treasure Hunt are announced at the time shown and open 5 minutes later. The Crate Frenzy and the Shooting Star start at the time shown. Tournament and Last Man Standing times are when the game starts; their lobbies open a few minutes earlier.
On top of these, a boss spawns in the Wilderness every 15 minutes: TzTok-Jad at :00, the Avatar of Destruction at :15, Skotizo at :30 and the Gemstone Crab at :45. The Wilderness Hotspot moves at :15 and :45, and the Divine Glod spawns every 3 hours on the hour.
Wilderness events
| Event | What you do | When | Join | Rewards |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Single-way PvP inside a ring of fire. Each kill gives you Bloodlust points: 1, plus the kill streak of the player you killed. Dying ends your streak and costs you a point. When time runs out a winner is drawn, and the more points you have, the more likely you are to win. A kill only counts if the player you kill is combat level 80 or higher and one of you is inside the ring. | 5 a day. Opens 5 minutes after it is announced and lasts 20 minutes | ::bloodlust
|
A Bloodlust Chest for the winner | |
| A multi-way fight between clans in a marked zone at East of Chins, the Demonic Ruins or the 50s. A kill inside the zone scores 1 point for your clan, plus the kill streak of the player you killed; both players must be combat level 126. Every 30 seconds the clan with the most players in the zone also scores a point, unless another clan has 5 or more players there. | Daily at 20:00 and lasts 15 minutes. On Saturdays it is a 45-minute Super Warfare in a larger zone | ::warfare
|
The owner of the winning clan gets 5 Diamond Crates (10 in a Super Warfare). The clans in 2nd to 5th place get 50,000, 25,000, 15,000 and 10,000 PKP | |
| A big crate lands at the Forgotten Cemetery, the Pirates' Hideout, the Agility Area or the 50s, with a ring of smaller crates around it. About every 25 seconds a different one opens: use your own crates or chests of that kind on it to double or upgrade them. Free Bronze, Silver, Gold and Platinum crates also drop around it. You need combat level 126, and using a crate skulls and teleblocks you. | 4 a day, 20 minutes | ::locs
|
Doubled or upgraded crates, and the free crates | |
| A chest drops at one of 15 spots in the Wilderness. Five minutes later anyone with combat level 126 and no more than 12 Saradomin brews can pick it up. The holder is teleblocked for 6 minutes, frozen for a few seconds and loses all run energy. Get the chest out of the Wilderness to win it. | 14 a day. Ends after 30 minutes if nobody wins | ::locs
|
The Wilderness Chest | |
| Like the Wilderness Chest, but at single-way spots in the deep Wilderness: the Deserted Keep, the Ice Plateau, the Single Strip, North Chins or the North Cemetery. You must risk at least 50,000 PKP to pick it up or to attack the holder, and the holder is teleblocked for 30 minutes. | 14 a day. Ends after 60 minutes if nobody wins | ::locs
|
The Gold Wilderness Chest | |
| Dig up 5 treasure map pieces with a Wilderness spade, then be the first to reach and claim the Treasure Chest. You need combat level 126, and dying resets your pieces. A Wilderness spade costs 2,500 PKP from the Pirate or the General Shop. | 6 a day. Opens 5 minutes after it is announced and ends after 60 minutes if nobody claims the chest | ::treasure
|
The Treasure Chest for the winner. Everyone who found pieces gets PK points: 2,500 per piece, or 15,000 for all five | |
| A star crashes somewhere in the Wilderness. Mine it for Stardust for 25 minutes; you do not need a pickaxe. | 5 a day | ::locs
|
Stardust, which Stark (::stark) buys at 10 Stardust for 1 PKP or trades 100,000 at a time for a Stardust Mystery Box. When the star is gone, one of the miners also wins a Stardust Mystery Box
| |
| One PvP area is the hotspot: Edgeville, Edge PvP, Varrock, the Mage Bank, East Dragons, West Dragons, the Revenant Caves, the 44 Portals, the 50 Portals or Chins. Player kills inside it give double PK points. | Moves every 30 minutes, at :15 and :45 | ::hotspot
|
Double PK points |
Timed bosses

|
A Wilderness boss that many players fight at once. Its drops go to the players who damaged it | |
| Every hour at :15 | ::avatar

Attacking it skulls you, and its health grows with every player who joins the fight | |

|
The vote boss. See Voting |
You need combat level 126 to attack Jad, the Avatar, Skotizo and the Gemstone Crab. Each Wilderness boss is announced 10 minutes before it spawns, and the quest tab shows where it will appear. Jad, the Avatar and Skotizo leave after 45 minutes if nobody kills them.
Minigame events

| A knock-out PvP tournament where everyone gets the same gear. The type changes every day of the week. | 5 a day: 01:00, 08:30, 16:00, 19:00 and 20:30 | ::tournament

Holiday events

Four times a year Roat Pkz runs a holiday event: at Easter, in summer, at Halloween and at Christmas. Each event runs for several weeks and brings its own event monster, event tokens and a reward shop at home with limited-time rewards, and recent events also had a holiday boss that spawned in the Wilderness every 3 hours. While an event runs, ::easter, ::summer, ::halloween or ::xmas takes you to it.
See Holiday events for every past event with its monsters and rewards, and Holiday items for how many of each reward exist.
